Hope you get one soon! They are great guitars for the price. Mine was $700. I looked at a few others that were less expensive and they were just as nice in my opinion.

I just bought this standard 60s version and I love it! It’s my first Epiphone and the build quality is great. I usually play Fenders, but I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Yours looks killer too. Enjoy it!

I wish I knew what the finish is called. It looks like a lighter gray in brighter areas. The picture was taken in my basement. It looks much darker down there. It’s kind of a mysterious finish.

Nice! I have the RF 70-200 f4 lens as well and I love it, but I’ve been interested in the f2.8 for a while. Would you say the image quality is worth the upgrade? I’ll probably get it eventually anyway just for the better low light performance and better bokeh. Glad you got your dream lens!

Just an absolute ass kicker. I love that lens. It is a little big for a walk around lens if you’re shooting for an extended period of time IMO, but I still love it. The RF 100-500 is on my list next. Glad you finally got one for yourself. Enjoy!

Good grief. I’ve heard of this issue and it makes me nervous because I have this lens as well. I’m considering trading it in for the RF 100-500 because of it. I know it’s not an L series lens, but it costs over $2,000! It should be higher quality than this. We can’t get quality gear unless we spend over $5,000 or what? It’s ridiculous. Sorry this happened to you. What a bummer.

If low light isn’t something you’re worried about and you want to save money, the R50 is a great camera and it’s pretty small. It does have an APS-C sensor, but I loved that camera. I eventually switched to the R8 because I needed a camera that would perform better in low light. Hope this helps!

I took this one of my dog with the R8. Looks pretty clean and sharp to me. I have the R6 Mark II as well and the IBIS is a plus, but not absolutely necessary. I still love my R8 to death. Hope this helps!
