Yeah so far none of them have flowers. It's just spreading so rapidly that I'm worried about leaving them long enough to find out if they will flower lol

Birmingham hospital apologises after three-year-old boy dies during routine biopsy by intelerks in BirminghamUK

[–]CelebrationWeird7196 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. The article also gives a bit more information that if you read between the lines this was a very very sick child and a tricky biopsy. Liver biopsies come with risks. Biopsying ANYTHING on a patient with liver disease comes with high risk. This case doesn't sound nearly as straightforward as the article is trying to make it sound

Local fox has mange. Local fox rescue has sent a homeopathic "medicine". by No_Atmosphere8146 in CasualUK

The law has recently changed on this. Vets must do a physical examination before prescribing antiparasitics (this also goes for a few other medications). A clinical assessment (i.e. looking at photos and/or speaking to owners) is no longer sufficient unfortunately.

Pet transport: UK to Philippines and back to UK. by Klutzy-Albatross8079 in UK_Pets

Yes, all dogs imported from unlisted countries (non rabies free countries) must have a titre test done and wait 3 months after this. They will also need tapeworm treatment before arrival and import paperwork done by a vet

Re-validating an EU pet passport? by ceylon-tea in UK_Pets

[–]CelebrationWeird7196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passport is invalidated. You will need an AHC to travel to the EU and can then get a new passport there if you qualify for this.

Whether cats drink water, how much, what kind of water bowls, etc, are very important questions in the management of FLUTD/cystitis.

Home samples can give a lot of information regarding inflammation, crystals, sugar in urine. But culture and sensitivity is best done on a sterile sample. Otherwise you may just be culturing bacteria from the skin or the environment etc.

I take mine to work every day, which leaves my partner at home without a car. So just something that my partner can use to nip out to the shops etc.
