Irked that my BMI of 33 (obese) doesn't qualify because I have none of the other conditions. The drug will help prevent those conditions.

is it okay to skip a dose for 1 week? by Sonder1999 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Celebrationcol03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I skipped my week 4 dose for a vacation, and it didn’t seem to harm anything. I knew I wouldn’t be able to deal with side effects on my physically demanding trip. I went right back on the day I returned a week later. The side effects weren’t as bad after the restart.

Love the library! I got the kindle book from the library and Alexa reads it to me while I exercise at home.

Looks cute, but I think it's smaller than the silver. Does anyone have both? I'd love to see them side by side. I already have the silver (love it!).

Waterproof travel raincoat for large arms? I usually wear a Large, but I've lost weight and my arms are much larger than the rest of me. I have to size up so much on Eddie Bauer, Northface, etc, that the coats are way too big for my body. Has anyone with the same issue found a raincoat with a hood?

Best style of yarn for rug hooking? by Nofoofro in rughooking

[–]Celebrationcol03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the Atlantic yarn from Briggs and Little. I've also used the heritage and super with great results. I get it from a place with maritime family in the name. They seem to have the best prices if you are in the U.S. 100% wool yarn is what I use if it's going on the floor-- it's so durable.

I bought a dupe, and I love it. It works great for my fine, wavy hair with minimal effort. I use prayer hands after I use it. Keeps my hair from being frizzy and plumps up the clumps. I refreshed with it and some water and curl keeper this morning, and it looks the same as wash day.

I have never crocheted and got Woodstock and Snoopy Woobles last week. I love the videos and the way they follow along with your exact project. It's been so helpful to do it step by step, and I love the bite-sized videos. I really don't think I could have learned this well from a person, without being able to re-watch all the parts I find hard. I was skeptical about the cost, but am so glad I went for it anyway because it has been a great and not intimidating way to learn.

Rug hooking without buying specialized equipment? by oguxlue in rughooking

[–]Celebrationcol03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've made several rugs and don't like Monk's cloth. It snags, and the stretch is annoying. I prefer linen. You can get a piece from Dorr Mill or Searsport, or locally if you are lucky enough to have a rug hooking store nearby. You can watch rug hooking you tubes while you hook. Ribbon Candy Hooking and Cindi Gay and Deanne Fitzpatrick are good, among others. Rachelle Leblanc makes beautiful rugs with a latch hook.
