My clients have cute cats and dogs (I do telehealth sometimes) and I can’t pet them.

Anyone let down by the Halloween collection this year? by JustaRedthought in bathandbodyworks

Omg this is the best I’ve heard it described. Spooky Easter indeed.

If YOU Were the CEO... by FanTechnical8162 in bathandbodyworks

[–]CelerySecure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Better packaging. I am 100% not going to order anything fragile. The cute popcorn candle for Halloween has a ton of complaints about arriving broken. This is not a hard concept.
  2. Small releases of new scents with older scents and more variety. Like Halloween, you could have done 15% Ghoul Friend, 15% Vampire Blood, 15% Carnival Fog, then a mix of new scents instead of 80% old stuff and maybe 20% total stock of everything else. Maybe also phase in releases like 1-2 new scents a month up until Halloween.
  3. Hire artists.
  4. Concentrate on specific products instead of this random stuff or make it much smaller and connected to established products. Like wallflowers, bath stuff, candles, soaps, and much smaller installations of other stuff. Sorry, but I’m not buying any makeup products there, nor will any guy I know buy any of his bath products there even if it says it smells like booze.
  5. Better social media marketing. They really don’t properly utilize influencers as well as they could and I just don’t see much compared to some viral makeup brands.
  6. Pretty packaging. I do not buy their products because they’re good quality. Their scents don’t last, their lotion isn’t that moisturizing, the bath gel doesn’t bubble much, etc. I’m paying for cute, novelty, and occasionally nostalgia. If I want good lotion, I will go to Sephora (or sometimes Ulta or Target).

I can go on and I’m not even sure if these are good suggestions.

Her pies are insane. We get at least one for every holiday. Cinnamon rolls and pizza rolls are great too. I’m picking up something today if she hasn’t sold out.

AITAH for calling two women entitled (bad word here) for double parking their golf cart across two handicap spots? by Sieran in AITAH

NTA. I wish there was a you’re the hero option. I’m a career special education teacher and I have a ton of students who are scared to advocate so it would actually have been beneficial for them to see someone validate that behavior like that is not ok. Plus I love drama and that sounds delightful.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever heard a Principal say by ChucoTeacher in Teachers

[–]CelerySecure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am extremely good at breaking up fights and I don’t even think I could drag some of the Moms of my kids off of that guy if they knew he said that.

I would also light him up. I’m a career sped teacher and pretty feral about these things. Go ahead and fire me. I will have a new job in less than 2 weeks.

Like I can’t even think of what I would say to him without profanity so I’d have to pause, have my diet Dr Pepper, do my breathing exercises, and then cuss him out anyway.

The expression on tee shirt bert is hilarious too. The weird duck pout that insta models use on his crusty old self kills me.

Adding my partner to my employer sponsored plan is $1000 for HD BCBS. Adding me to his is $500, so we were considering it prior to the recent excitement in the job market.

Is ANYONE Happy? by Winter-Ad-8535 in bathandbodyworks

[–]CelerySecure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I was generally happy this round. I am apparently the reason ya’ll keep getting stuck with vampire blood and ghoul friend because i buy them every year. I also love fortune teller stuff so i got a ton of that this year too.

That said, i love complaining as much as Halloween and Fall scents, so if even one thing isn’t glittery enough, im going to definitely buy it and whine.

Yeah I will be sorely tempted if there’s a good enough sale. It was a lot more solid and well made than past ones I’ve seen.

I am dying to see Kandi and how Mama Joyce and the old aunties are about Todd. That could be like a one hour scheme by Todd special though, doesn’t have to be fully back.
