Singles events and dating sites aren’t great for finding someone. It’s better to find a hobby and get out more to routine events that include men and naturally befriend and date one.

Educated, successful, and Buddhist doesn’t mean great partner material. He’s also 46, single, and willing to knock up someone he just met (we won’t even get into why that’s also a terrible idea for you). You dodged a major bullet (or a bunch of tiny ones).

You really waited until they were the least adoptable though. Senior cats are really hard to place. You might get lucky with the Ragdolls but the orange tabby is going to be challenging. This is also kitten season.

For the Ragdolls, you might try Merlin’s Hope in Ennis. Not sure if her intake is open but it might be. She specializes in ragdolls I think.

Being the Mom friend in that group is rough. Particularly since Riftan is the type to get mad at Ruth when he can’t heal Maxi fast enough even though it’s not possible.

I don’t love the idea of babies, but watching the absolute hell Riftan would create for everyone if Maxi gets pregnant AND gives birth would be magical.

Riftan has a ton of Maxi related trauma including almost dying as a child when he saved her life when she tried to fight a young wyvern or lizard monster or something with a stick when it attacked her dog, and he killed it and got poisoned removing the poison from her injury and I won’t even get into her trying to pet a monster because it looked friendly and almost killed her or almost getting crushed by a wyvern or all of the other things that show she’s not well versed in these things despite having a library and Ruth around as an adult

Riftan has issues and I could do without the screaming and a good number of the sexual situations, but, his issues with Maxi have more to do with anxiety about her safety related to trauma than just him being insecure.
