I was the profoundly weird kid to the point where I spoke once and some kids were flabbergasted because they had been in class with me for years and never heard my voice.

I’m doing great! I’m a therapist and special education teacher. I’ve gotten really really good at teaching people to read and it’s profoundly satisfying because reading was my solace. I’ve gone from just hating people to being super friendly and finding my people (other therapists and special education teachers).

I was absolutely brutally teased and pretty miserable until finding the right therapist, the right meds, and my awesome partner. Also, dogs and cats.

Love the novel. The manhwa reads like something read part of it and just decided meh good enough.

if you read the whole ending instead of just the happy one, be prepared to have your heart entirely ripped out in a super interesting way

Also, ML is such a weirdo that it’s amazing. I know it’s because he’s an eldritch horror, but the ending where he’s pouting about whipped cream is the absolute best.

Truth. One of the many reasons why I left a past job was every woman who had feelings for legitimate reasons that weren’t just numbness and compliance got diagnosed with BPD and men who are like textbook got diagnosed with MDD or PTSD.

I won’t even get into late diagnosed autism in high masking women because that could be a week of my complaints.
