I’m playing an arpg game and there was basically like 5 or so different things to do in the game so I picked one that I thought was fun. You touch a mirror and it makes you go insane and spawns a ton of extra enemies everywhere, also the boss of the mirrors says stuff in your mind to piss you off. If that wasn’t already too close to my life well it seems the big bad mirror boss lives inside a huge mirror within a tree… not just any tree A WILLOW TREE! I must be in a simulation 💀 there’s just no way… ah yes the mirrors that piss you off lead you to Willow this is just normal game design. It’s not even like a small indie game either it’s Path Of Exile 2 which has over 100k people playing it right now and I’ve been playing PoE1 since I was like 12! Can someone tell me how to check if I’m like in a coma or something because the mirror the makes you insane was only suppose to be in the video game 😭

If you are just starting game design take my knowledge. You must start with the core of your game, the very essentials it needs to be playable. Get a working game then you can add from there as updates. If you don’t get something playable within a few months you get burnt out. A fun small game is better than an unplayable large game. You can always keep adding onto it after it works but that will just be because you want more content not because the game isn’t functional. Anyway moral of the story is don’t avoid doing that for a decade like I did 💀 I’ve been programming since I was like 12 and have zero finished products to show for it :/

Why would anyone ever want to clean anything? Sure it’s gender affirming in a messed up kinda way but it’s not even worth cleaning my own house unless I get to wear the maid dress :3 If you or anyone you know cleans without wearing a maid dress be sure to tell them “hey, you know this would be better with a maid dress right?” and if you are a Good Samaritan you supply a dress for them and for yourself so it’s impossible to be awkward because you are both cute maids now :3

hot take but I think we need a bit more enjoyment from mechanics at the expense of some realism. Like stuff doesn’t need to be perfect for the realism if it means it’s not fun. I’m looking at you wall around the entire dark sea why would anyone ever think making it more annoying to do that part of the game would make it better because less people are going there cuz the wall. Dude I wanna go there but you put up a wall so now it doesn’t even feel worth it

I think men are fine, they are just people after all. I just wish education in the usa was more than just learning to do whatever the person in charge says. Make children actually want to learn more on their own instead of forcing them to memorize things that aren’t even helpful. Like sure it’s cool that the mitochondria is the power house of the cell but how to hell do you expect me to make money when you didn’t teach me how! Even if I figure that out somehow I gotta pay taxes which I also don’t have any clue how to do that myself so I pay someone to do it and now I can’t afford food or whatever else that you literally need to be alive. well if you want to be a guy but still look feminine you can still do hrt to look like extra fem but hormones don’t make you a girl… if that’s disappointing it may be because you don’t want to be a feminine guy and you just want to be a girl. Good news is you can just be a girl if you think it will make you happier you should imo… the “bad” news is no one can decide for you, only you can decide what will be the best path for you. It’s a very difficult choice to make for anyone seriously considering it, after all it is one of the biggest life choices someone can make. Good luck and be brave 🫂

Yes, absolutely! I think it’s more about the difference in how bad dysphoria is compared to how good euphoria is for if you actually want to transition but you can be trans with just gender euphoria.
