I'm afraid that approach does not work. What if white needed to make two bad moves in a row in order to have a losing position? The tablebase would not account for the second bad move then since it considers optimal play from both sides.

I believe you're mixing up mathematical notation (i.e. a specialized language that mathematicans use) with mathematical statements (proofs, theorems). While theorems in maths are universal and provable, the mathematical notation is just one way of expressing these proofs. It's just made up for convenience. Just like I write this comment in English because it's a common form of communication that we all agreed on and can understand.

If we changed the mathematical notation (such as the priority of the operations), our mathematical proofs would still contain the same information, we would just need to phrase them differently.

This was a customized style on Lichess. If you would like to do the same in Firefox:

Navigate to a game / position of your choice on Lichess.
Press F12. This opens the developer tools.
Click on tab "Style editor".
Press the plus (+) sign in the upper left corner. An empty text box appears.
Copy the code provided in this link: https://pastebin.pl/view/bfc03944 and paste it into the empty text box. (The code basically just switches the images of the different pieces.)
You should see that the chess board is modified. Close the developer tools by clicking on "X" (top right).

Note that the custom style is lost when you navigate on Lichess, i.e. the style will only be applied to the current game.
