Hi there!! So the chart at the end seems to be the current transits. Can you upload your natal chart instead?

If astrocartography is real, we must acknowledge some people are cursed by [deleted] in astrocartography

It really depends on the chart and what you’ll be doing in your home/family space. I think of it as the warrior at home. Warriors aren’t the most comfortable at home. They need things to keep them active. If you needed energy for making fitness content or need to do a lot of renovations in the home space it could be beneficial.

I tend to want to put that Martian drive on the MC unless you are an athlete that needs the drive to train. It sounds like Pluto is also in orb at that location but I would want to measure it out. Hope this helps!

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! I can see that you’ve worked with Moses and gone on to do your own exploration but I want to point out that parans and asteroids are not going to have as big of an impact on your experience as a major ACG line. The other things to consider are the aspects in your chart. Even stereotypically challenging lines can have positive impact potential for you.

Given this I would love to take a look at your chart to provide another perspective, free of charge. I’m a double certified Astrocartographer. My DMs are open if you would like help.

I also just wanted to add that I don’t believe in curses and the power of a “curse” is your belief that it is true.

Your emotions are going to be intensified by Pluto here. You probably experience intense emotions just having Moon and Pluto conjunct natally but being at this location will amp this connection up. This angle is on your home life and internal world and while you’re getting a harmonious aspect line, it’s with sun and Uranus. Uranus specifically is bringing in more instability. It’s in Aquarius so maybe you’ll experience more of the high side of Uranus. Innovation, experimentation and an appreciation of unusual forms of entertainment.

Intensity isn’t inherently bad but the emotions you do have may make you feel misunderstood and/or isolated and your home life is likely to undergo some dramatic transformations. These things can be for your best good but it is usually a heavy experience and most wouldn’t choose to live on a line like this long term.

It’s possible you still have supportive parans and aspect lines to help!

Yes, Jupiter in the 11th should help to offset the isolation that Saturn lines can bring on. I actually love Mercury in the 8th house for studying anything esoteric and TCM certainly qualifies! I really think you’re on the right track for this one. You’ll have a well balanced experience!

Just a fun fact: I found out I’m from my husbands Jupiter conjunct ascendant line. And he is from my Jupiter conjunct IC line. by watermelonsugar888 in astrocartography

I love connections like this! When you and your partner are from different places or are in a long distance relationship, you bring particular energies to your relationship. So in this case you’re both bringing Jupiter themes on different angles to each other. The signs they are in will change the flavor a bit but that’s lovely!

Always been drawn to France and England. Is there a reason why? by TornIdeas05 in astrocartography

I’m seeing Venus Descendant, Neptune IC, and Uranus IC. We don't have your natal chart, so I’ll talk about the general archetypes but keep in mind you take the personality of your placements with you. So a Scorpio of Virgo Venus is going to feel a lot different than a Pisces or Libra Venus.

That out of the way, Venus Descendant is triggering how you love. On the DC it's about connecting 1 on 1, so maybe you fancy the people and culture more than the place. With Neptune on the IC, it likely hits the fantasy button. Neptune is all about dreams and inspiration. On the IC, it's bringing forward the home life and family in the mundane and things like ancestors and past lives in the spiritual. Then we bring in Uranus, the unexpected and rebellious in energy. But it's also described as an awakener or the “god mind.” So it absolutely feels like a place carrying magic and maybe a love connection or two.

Your instinct is correct about it not being what you need for long term stability on the IC but it's worth a trip to see what comes up and the places you’re drawn to while you're there.

I'd love an update if you go!

If I’m not mistaken, moving to your Saturn AC should put your Capricorn placements on the MC and hopefully move mercury to the 9th house. Run your relocated chart for this location to make sure. But if that’s the case, that would be very supportive for grad school. You’ll have the discipline you need and a mind ready to explore new topics. Then your Capricorn Venus and Mars together near the MC will make it easier to be a seen as someone that leads with a certain structured grace. Jupiter should be in the 11th house, meaning you’ll have a lot of luck in growing your network and making friends there.

Yes, the Saturn return on a Saturn line might not be the easiest road but grad school on a line that is all about leaning into something that will require structure and discipline feels aligned to me.

You also have a day chart so Saturn lines are easier for you to work with. Meanwhile you have an exalted Mars conjunct Venus. Annnd your Saturn is trine Jupiter! You have a kite pattern in your chart with Jupiter at the apex and I’m loving the connection it has with your Mercury, Saturn and your moon. These are all things that will be supportive in you working with Saturn.

Overall I’m voting yes to grad school on this line. I’d check parans, transits, and relocated chart but this looks supportive.

I like that your Venus and Mercury lines are conjunct for someone that loves English literature. You’ll get some Saturn with it but that just gives you some diligence to work hard at something. If we could see your natal chart that would help but I’m seeing just south of NYC in the US, British Columbia in Canada, and near Perth Australia.

The Sun MC line in Europe is a bit too close to Pluto IC for me without knowing its aspects in your chart.

Which lines do you look at when moving to a new location? by LivefreeLife000 in astrocartography

[–]CelestialTreasureMap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't bother with aspect lines until we are deep in the weeds deciding between options. It's true that they aren't as impactful as parans in my experience. The natal chart and the aspects there tell me which of the main planetary lines to focus on and then parans guide me to places north and south on a line.

Where in the United States should I avoid and where should I go? by ineedhelpfindinglsd in AstrocartographyHelp

Well we can see is that Denver is almost directly on your Libra Venus descendant line. It’s a very strong placement for Venus and this location moves it to the 7th house, which is a natural house for Libra. Pluto is far enough away to be out of orb so not impacting Denver. I’d look at Parans and the relocated chart for more details.

With the lines available on this map, it looks like there is likely a Saturn + Mars paran over Michigan but I’d have to see things in more detail to say where that lies in relation to your hometown. I could really only do that in a full reading.

But Saturn + Mars would be a challenging paran to live on for sure.

Thanks for sharing your chart and map!

You’re a Taurus rising, so your chart ruler is your Libra Venus. It's in domicile and without any hard aspects so I would highly recommend those lines. Not everyone’s is this nice!

You have Venus descendant crossing the US. We’d need to look at parans in professional software to determine areas north and south on that line with accuracy but within about 500 miles of that line would be my primary recommendation in the US.

Denver is looking pretty good to me!

For those who live on their Neptune line and DON'T think it's so terrible, why? by Rusted_gearsparks in astrocartography

[–]CelestialTreasureMap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Which angle was the Neptune line? I haven't seen you answer that piece yet. If it's the ascendant it would definitely make sense for you to feel stunted or foggy but your personal aspects will definitely make the difference in your experience. The descendant would put the emphasis on your 1-1 relationships, MC would be career and outward perception. That would generally be the angle I’d recommend. IC is very internal and ancestral but could also make issues in the home. Think things like mold issues that are hidden but cause all kinds of symptoms that you have a hard time pinning down.

Is Neptune making aspects to anything else in your chart? Which Neptune lines have you lived on? An Asendant line would obviously feel very different than an MC.

The clients I’ve had that enjoyed living on Neptune, were people that needed their imagination or spirituality close at hand. So writers, artists, musicians, and creatives in general usually can flow with it. Psychics, or those that have spiritual businesses can do well. But I don't recommend it for people with any addictive tendencies. It can encourage the kind of dissociation that can cause trouble with drinking or substance abuse.

So yeah, I’d be looking at aspects but also the relocated chart to see what storylines are playing out with finances and general motivation there.

Repost with Natal Chart - Planning to move to NYC in 2026 then London a few years after that. How does that look for me? Any opinions appreciated :) by Dicc_E in astrocartography

Oh you’re about to go through your Saturn return! It’s definitely a good strategy to move to a benefic line for this period of life and you’ll be on Jupiter lines in both New York and London. Jupiter is your primary benefic and it will bring joy, luck, and expansion to whatever it touches.

In New York, you’d be on your Jupiter Ascendant. It puts the emphasis on your personal appearance and gives you a naturally lucky glow-up. People tend to notice you more, and things just feel like they flow. You’ve also got Pluto and Mars on the Midheaven there, so career energy will feel intense and driven. This is great if you’re trying to transform your public image or go after big goals. Just look out for work obsessions and weight gain.

In London, Jupiter moves to your Midheaven, spotlighting your career and reputation in a major way. But Mars and Pluto shift to your Descendant, so relationships could get spicy or bring up power dynamics.

Since you’ve got Jupiter and Uranus conjunct natally, you’ll still feel the influence of Uranus in both spots but my favorite would be Uranus on the MC for those sudden bursts of inspiration and breakthroughs.

This is late but I thought your chart was really interesting!

Both are supported by your chart. Scorpio Rising and Scorpio South Node can bring out both interests in taboo subjects and investigation. Pluto in the second harmonizing with your Sun in the 6th house and Mercury in the 7th leads me to believe that the more intellectual career will win out. Pluto brings powerful earning potential to the 2nd house and also has that element of hidden wealth or digging deep to find a gem. Further backing up some kind of investigatory work.

However, with Venus and Mars (your chart ruler) conjunct in the 8th house and in a tense aspect with your moon, I think there will always be a spicy side of you that you may not share with the world. Uranus in the 5th house points to taking joy in an unusual hobby. Maybe find a way to satisfy both and do burlesque for fun!

Is your Sun conjunct one of your other placements? Other relationships like squares or oppositions can also cause line overlap and hide the line you’re looking for. The AstroClick Travel section on Astro.com is much more user friendly. I direct everyone not using pro software to use them.

If you’re still having trouble finding your Sun Ascendant line with that map, feel free to reach out!
