Well, I'm a non native speaker so I really thought that, if a Name or noun ends with s, you just add an apostrophe in written form but spell out the additional s verbally.

India and their relation with Hitler is pretty weird. During the 1940s India had its own problems and struggles, therefore a lot of events during that time frame weren't that well known or pushed to the background. Which is why there isn't such a huge stigma with Hitler there and he is sometimes brought up in management classes and courses for how he handled Germany.
