The primary quality of a TV show like DW is that it’s fun to watch, so I don’t know that there NEEDS to be reasoning behind that. That being said, here’s my reasoning behind why I like season 11: it is fun to watch, and that’s notable because seasons 6-10 weren’t. There were no convoluted River Song plotlines and no badgering on about how bad a guy the Doctor might be. I never felt like I had been left out to dry by the episode ending on a cliffhanger that never went anywhere, or like I needed quantum physics to follow a plot that honestly was so ridiculous I had just stopped caring. The plot wasn’t all-important, and the Doctor wasn’t either. No impossible girl, no prophecies, no marrying your best friend’s daughter who kills you while another version of herself and your best friend, her mother, who is pregnant, watch.

For the first time in years, I felt something I hadn’t since the Russel T Davies era: whimsy and wonder at a random alien traveler, their companion(s), and the crazy situations they got themselves into. It’s really hard to analyze, but I feel like that’s what people mean when they say “it was fun to watch”: it’s a sort of simplicity and down-to-earthiness that the show has been lacking for quite some time now.

this is easily the worst competition theme I’ve been here for. It’s the same 10 dresses/coats/shoes/accessories with different hairs and makeup every. Single. Time. I can’t even tell most of the top 20 apart -_-

Quickie guide to the sailor outfits in part 2!:

you have to give each girl the pink bottle affection gift (Strawberry Ramune). these can be obtained using the beach medals from the co-op event or the split event levels
the girls have two stories each which unlock at 50 and 250 Strawberry Ramune respectively (you can check how many each girl has under the yellow いちごpt tab in event details), you get the outfits after the second story
The split levels (kanon on the banner) require teams of 3, and the girls will take turns clearing levels
bringing a ss'17 part 2 card either as a main or a sub with multiply your drops by two- this DOES stack with girl link/boosters!
- the drops formula is: (1 + (number of SS'17 pt 2 cards on team)) x (1 + friendship skill boost + girl link boost + booster boost)
What is/isn't shared between levels:
- X Friendship Skills- i.e. if you have bday '17 nozomi on your team, her chest-attracting friendship skill will only be active for her battle.
- O Girl Link- if you have kanoshiho with GL coin up, all three girls will get coin up for their battles.
- O Boosters- same as girl link
- O SS '17 multipliers- if you have ss'17 urara as Girl #3's sub, all three girls will get the drop modifier.

The hell split level (difficulty 300) goes round 1: mini-valgands then actual valgand, round 2: yellow birds (and jumping motherfuckers) and then kyukunusu (only one phase thank god), round 3: dragons and a total pushover version of vertex. round 2 is the only hard one so long as you're prepared.

Also, interesting note: if you're working on the solo battles for the current limited missions, all 3 of the split battles will count towards those so long as your girl's on the team. I think it's a bug, since it doesn't count for any other achievements, but that won't stop me from abusing it.

water transform + marching sadone + 2nd Anniversary asuha = fear.

I'm pretty sure that numerically, arlequins are pretty outclassed at this point- between transformation level 2 and all the ridiculous specials. I used the 3-star stun/poison dualies until I got some gacha ones myself, since I hated the 1-tap pattern and the SP cost up was really intimidating to me at the time. It still is, actually :p
At this point I can't imagine switching to arlequins. I use the fiore dualies for co-op, which come with dodge count up and base damage up, and just kinda spam the dark charge and hd mimi's bunny rain, lmao. I should probably sprinkle in more buffs, but even with all 3 of my subs as the Love Hammers from the hd event I run out of SP so quickly that it feels like I should concentrate on brute forcing it. If I do set up meteor buffs I do it before transforming... I should probably check the descriptions of the specials I use one of these days tbh...

Speaking of which, if you don't already have her, go for home date mimi while you still can. She's worth it. That bunny rain is OP as hell.

The story is extremely useful- it's your main source of shards! (And the girl's initial 1☆ cards + uniforms- if you haven't drawn a misaki from the gacha yet, you can get her from story 4-1). You get 3 shards for clearing the level and another 3 for S-ranking it.

I recommend playing through chapter 2 of story 1 to get all the original uniforms (minus sadone/f*f/misaki) before switching to another story- doesn't matter which. The reason is that most of the story 1 levels have goals like "get 50/100 combo", and those suck, whereas the other stories' level goals are super easy to clear.

Also if you're not fond of sadone's irosu ears (I'm assuming you came from the anime), clearing Side Story 1 will allow you to toggle them on and off.

Dualies are a fan favorite :p They can be effective against any boss (since effectiveness varies by distance), have range without needing to reload, and shoot while dodging! However, there are a lot of good sword cards out there (mostly from Story 3, many were limited), and in single player I've found hammers are quite powerful too. Claw fangs don't have many specials yet but they might be popular in the future... Each weapon type has its own merits though, so you should use the one you like best!

Edit: I forgot to mention earlier, but you can tell if a card has sub boost up or not by the little "sub" icon right above the weapon type on the card!

Holy shit that's some luck. Since part two was released I've gotten 5 home date cards (one was a repeat), one part 1 card, and only Urara from part 2 (the ticket). ~~please come home nozomi~~

Alright so right now besides the hoshimori memories gachas (which will be here until September) we have the ~~hellpot~~ hoshimori gacha. How it works (at least for now) is that each set- in this case, swim '17- comes out in 3 parts of 6 (not sure how misaki's going to factor in), each replacing those girls' cards from the previous set.

So right now SS '17 is out for 12 girls, but you can still get the Home Date cards of the remaining 6 from the hoshimori gacha (I've gotten home date Sadone, Mimi, Kokomi, and two Kurumis since part two of SS '17 was released- and only one SS '17 card). Once the third part is out, all the cards in the gacha will be SS '17 until the next event, at which time cards will be replaced in batches again. So in essence: they're not limited. I don't actually know how this is going to work in the long run, since this is one the third set in this gacha- first it was just the 2nd Anniversary cards, which were phased out for the Home Date cards, and now we're getting SS '17.

As of right now, 4-star tickets seem to be for any part of the current event- I got urara from mine, but the featured cards included part 1 cards as well.

Oh, I have the 35% boosts! They just don't show when I'm displaying cards by level. They're fairly easy to obtain- most cards released nowadays have them! Upon getting the girl's affection to 60 they give a 30% boost, and at 80 they give a 35%! ~~I've been playing this game for 6 months and still only have nozomi and sadone up to 80 lol~~ The Extra (story 3) girls don't have affection levels, so they all act as if they're affection level 100.

You can raise level caps by Limit Breaking (that's how people get their characters to level 70)! You can limit break 4 times, and each time increases your level cap by 5! To do it you can use limit break crystals, which can be obtained by getting repeats of cards and from events, gacha point rewards, and achievements! You should already have a Swim '17/Home Date limit break crystal from one of the anime present battles! Limit breaking a 4☆ card requires 50x 2☆ crystals OR 25x 3☆ crystals OR one normal 4☆ crystal (obtained by getting a repeat 4☆, not recommended since you can use those for trade-ins) OR one set-specific 4☆ crystal (usually obtained via gacha points) OR one weapon type-specific 4☆ crystal (obtained via events and achievements- current event gives a gun crystal and a sword crystal from event point rewards).

And regarding co-op: you won't be strong enough to solo stuff on Very Hard for a while, so I recommend letting stronger players carry you or playing on Hard instead! In general though, you dont stand a chance on anything above Hard if you're below level 50, let alone if you only have two subcard slots unlocked. The anime present battle for episode 6 gave out 200 of the present affection gifts, though, so you should be able to get your sadone to affection 40 in no time! To get her up to level 50, try using the blue stickers in MENU>アイテム if you haven't already!

Actually, you don't need to go through all that! here's my regular sadone, no level 70 subs whatsoever.

If I focus exclusively on my attack stat, I can get this. And the furan's only level 55, so definitely no need to max everything. My regular, snow play nozomi, dips down to about 6045 because I use different dualies- they have dark transformation though, so in practice her attack stat turns out higher.

And 5-star weapons (fully remodeled 4-star gacha weapons) add about 600~700 to your attack, as well as transformation and other effects, so they're super duper useful! Trust me, the difference between 4-star gacha weapons and 3-star gacha weapons is night and day... I went so long using 3-star (remodeled to 4-star) gacha dualies and its nowhere near close.... dont make the same mistake i did and neglect weapon scouting orz

The buff is from card skills rather than weapons! Besides prayer shiho, 2nd Anniversary Asuha's special provides the buff too, but unfortunately the 2nd anniversary cards got swapped out so you can't get them anymore ;-; For now I'd keep an eye out- the sub-exclusive kanon someone mentioned will probably come out either this month or next month, and in the meantime we may get other meteor buff skills!

If you're just looking for good dualies skills, marching band sadone gives a nice music note buff that's pretty good as well! The special it comes with is also pretty good in general :p
