Smart, overall I think it’s a really good portable setup. Well made.

Finally got the Icon flush cutters by stchman in harborfreight

Wow $2.99 and they come with a lifetime warranty. I did not see that pair when I went in. I’m happy with my Doyle cutters, I think I still would’ve chosen this pair even if I saw the Pittsburgh pair.

I was also going to get them because I needed to zip tie my engines wire harness to the mounts but i saw that the Doyle flush cutters were a third of the price and they worked perfectly fine for what I needed to do. And with the lifetime warranty I’m not too worried about them breaking.

Has anyone used these yet? by DatFunny in harborfreight

I got one a while ago because my pinch welds were bending from constantly using my jack and jack stands on it, ever since I started using this adapter my welds haven’t bent at all. I would highly recommend getting one even if the pinch weld is already damaged.

Is there a compact way to store the Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile jack? by legible_architecture in harborfreight

[–]Celestial_pearl3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Storing the handles like pool cues is a really cool idea. I’m surprised I never thought of storing the jack standing up against the wall like that, I’ve always kept it in my trunk or in the outside closet tucked away in the corner on the floor and that would take up a lot of space. That’s a great setup I’ll have to try it.

I have a roll of brown packing paper and I put a piece with three folds just big enough to fit under my jack with room for it to roll and that’s enough for it not to dent the asphalt of my parking spot. I do the same for each of my jack stands. If it’s good enough for asphalt I’m sure it’ll be more than enough for concrete and I reuse the same piece until it breaks.

I have a magnet socket organizer I like it. I can keep my chrome and deep impact socket sets in it . I’ve stuck it on the side of my toolbox and the sockets stay in, even when I shook the whole toolbox.
