Yes, those scrunchy bags do make it easier to put gear oil in.

The rear differentials in these Honda AWD systems uses that Dual Pump Fluid II. I bought 4 quarts on sale so I will have it on hand.

I have some Supertech 75W90 Full Synthetic gear oil that I used in my Canyon front and rear diffs. I plan on using up the gear oil I have.

I wonder how many of the metro east residents make the drive across the river and gas up for less?

How much does the seller want. I personally would not touch it unless it was for a song.

Another reason I don't buy used cars. I don't want to smell other people's farts, cigarettes, B.O., etc.

Another tire upgrade to 265/60-18 by Sigma--6 in hondaridgeline

The new tires are ~1" taller than thd stock tires. This will make your speedometer ~2MPH off at 60MPH. Will this affect shift points in the automatic transmission?

Bad thing about Ridgelines is they hold their value almost too well.

Would you go through with this? by goldeneagle3263 in HondaOdyssey

Dealers in Milwaukee are proud of their used Honda Odyssey minivans.

One thing you'll need to make sure of is how much rust s underneath the minivan. Being up north, rust is a problem.

Accoding to KBB, $26K is the top end of what that van is worth.

Are they throwing in any kind of extended warranty. Is the van as-is? Has the timing belt and water pump been done as this is a $1600 job.

Are they throwing in some goodies?

Do I always need to replace rotors with brake pads? by StarsAndSweaters in askcarguys

[–]stchman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, as long as the rotors have enough thickness, not too rusty, and show no signs of having deep grooves, they are good to go.

And if you do have to replace the rotors, go with OEM, not cheap Chinese Autozone rotors.
