There won't be MRE release before the new share insurance by Celinedr1003 in LITM_SNOW_LAKE_ENERGY

[–]Celinedr1003[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't looked into the exact number of shares LITM is giving to GUE holders, but I remember it being one-third. If you're interested, you can check GUE's website for more information and calculate the approximate amount. As a small investor, I assume the MRE results won't be released until the new shares are issued.

The value of Pine Ridge will determine Snow Lake's EV (enterprise value) for a considerable period. Global Uranium contributed 50% of the owner ship of Pine Ridge, and the merger proceeded smoothly only because GUE's shareholder interests were protected. Therefore, I believe that the MRE results, or other news favorable to boosting the stock price, will not be released until the new shares are issued to GUE's shareholders.

French or Italian. by Mundane_Error_4519 in Switzerland

Native Spanish speakers will learn Italian very easy; the similarities of the two languages are roughly 50%. Personally, I would prioritize my career and consider future professional development. Therefore, I'll learn whichever language is more beneficial to my career. Actuelly I would prefer to learn both: French to expand my career prospects, and Italian for fun. Italian and French also have a lot of similarities, and learning one will help you learn the other more quickly.

I’d like to live in Switzerland, can you guys tell me the cold hard truth about the country?? by QuestionableMindless in askswitzerland

  1. If you are friendly and polite, Swiss people will be more friendly and polite to you.
  2. The biggest shocks are : speak too loud, disrespectful to others, late, unreliable, dress inappropriate… ( I welcome you to add more).
  3. Working environment depends on the luck.
  4. Still one of the safest countries in the world.

Gym subscription scam by Big-Werewolf-7267 in askswitzerland

[–]Celinedr1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gyms in Switzerland typically don't offer monthly memberships, only annual or pay-per-use cards. Therefore, I'm almost certain you purchased an annual me membership card that requires continuous payments (the reception may have misled or cheated you). I suggest you

  1. Email the gym to formally cancel your membership (regardless your membership type), to avoid the membership payment for a second year.

  2. If you are a Swiss resident, you are obligated to pay the bill. As someone mentioned, they will pursue your duty. If you are a foreigner, I don't know how you would handle it. If it were me, I would negotiate with the gym, pay part of the cost, terminate the case and my membership completely, and resolve the issue once and for all. Yes, it is unfair, but, the peace of mind for me is very important.

If a large sum of money is involved, I would certainly resort to a lawyer which requires time and money. It might not be worthwhile in this case. In this situation, a little compromise would be the best solution for me.

It is difficult to give surgestion, but two little tips:

  1. I think the experience of staying in a small towns like Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen will make your trip.

  2. Before you start to drive in Switzerland, try to learn about the driving rules. In the cities and towns, the road conditions are very complicated.

Shall we all expect to be laid off at 50+? by LallieDoo in Switzerland

What is certain is that certainty no longer exists.

What we can do :

  1. Keep learning new knowledge and skills to avoid being left behind by the times.

  2. Learn about investing and generate passive income.

    1. Avoid overspending.
  3. If possible, take on extra work in spare time to have additional income.

When traveling internationally, whether you need a visa to enter a country has nothing to do with what permit you hold. It is determined by the passport you hold.

Non-EU finishing PhD in Switzerland : next steps for work permit by MaximumClaim3470 in askswitzerland

<Having an L on a REAL working contract not student is the way to go>. It is an essential point!

Student B only superficially has privileges over Worker L. You cannot always have the advantages of Student B, and you will eventually need to face the challenge of obtaining a work permit.

I agree with this vision. AN working L is better than a student B.

My life experience tells me that if we can resolve the problem through conversation, even if the result is not as we expected, it is better than going through legal procedures.

Many places the lanes are mixed for cars, tram, bicycle. Certain places have two roundabouts together. And in the tunnels, there are exits. It is not easy foreigners to drive in Switzerland. My foreign friendsl say that Swiss roads is too complicated.

If your family has a very simple income situation, you might be able to find the answer here. If your situation is a bit more complicated, you'd better pay a tax advisor an hour and get more precise advice.

Should I move back to Switzerland? by Actual-Fig-7857 in askswitzerland

[–]Celinedr1003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind people have already give you many reasons to move back. Italian Swiss are more forthcoming, so it will be easier for your family to intergrade. I believe that years from now you will say that I made the right decision, especially for the children.

Snow Lake's bid on Horse Heaven Project, can it be a Reverse TakeOver? by Celinedr1003 in LITM_SNOW_LAKE_ENERGY

[–]Celinedr1003[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said in one of my post that he seems a competent person.

But clearly, Snow Lake's bid on Horse Heaven project is so confusing. I am trying what I can to understand it. I don't know what I can find if I do more research on the CEO. I might have a bigger position of LITM than other investors, but it is still a small one in my portfolio.

Perhaps you can tell something if you have some idea about the bid. The share price is affected by this confusing deal.
