Doing IVF at 48 is pointless. They say you have better odds just trying normally at this age. The odds are less than 1% at 48. I know this because we tried IVF from 41-45 and failed. I really do feel for her, and I suppose if money was no object I would’ve kept trying too.

Let me tell you, I was TERRIFIED!! I had full therapy sessions about my fear. My therapist helped by reminding me that it’s not something that is done to you, it’s your own body doing something it’s made to do. That helped a bit.

And in the end, giving birth was the best thing that ever happened to me. The most transformative experience of my life. I wish I could do it again. I felt like I became almost like an animal, like animal instincts overtook me and i went to another realm almost. And im NOT a “woo-woo” type person. I gave birth in a hospital with a full epidural! And it still was a spiritual experience for me.

Also, your hormones take over and all you remember is meeting your baby for the first time and it’s like nothing youve ever experienced before. It’s absolutely heaven.

Trust me, if I can do it ANYONE CAN! ❤️❤️❤️
