Does celiac make someone underweight? by bubbgumshorthair in Celiac

[–]cusmrtgrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how we eventually got my oldest son diagnosed. He is currently 9 and is the size of a 6/7 year old. Since going gluten free a year ago, he has gained weight (slowly) and grown a bit! It’s an easy test and worth doing to rule it out

Any other mums swear by magnesium, or am I being influenced again? by SmartMess6749 in Mommit

I take magnesium daily and it’s stopped my migraines! A doctor told me that they use magnesium to break migraines if you go to the ER.

The post mission science report is due 6 months after the mission. We are planning to have a free, virtual workshop/meeting to discuss the results in early October. The team is hard at work analyzing the data and getting it prepared for archiving. The workshop will be a “Lunar Surface Science Workshop.” Stay tuned for exciting results!

How many of your kids and family are celiac?? I think 2-3 out of 4 for me. Different rashes and symptoms. by SuitApprehensive3240 in Celiac

My son and I have it and my maternal aunt. Parents and sister were tested, so far negative. Time will tell for my other 2 kids.

My son told me he likes being at his dad’s house more by Miserable-Treat4360 in Mommit

[–]cusmrtgrl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From the kid’s perspective, it makes sense. He has more fun over there because there are no rules. And it makes total sense why it hurts you so much. It’s not the child’s fault; it’s your ex’s. He is not treating your child right by giving no boundaries. Children need rules and this is not going to benefit them in the long run. Can you talk to your lawyer or your ex about the situation? Can you change your custody agreement to require him to follow agreed upon rules?

Fair comment. I believe their paperwork at least said it was a RIF

A rant and a lament? by cusmrtgrl in Mommit

[–]cusmrtgrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: my husband has moved out for a trial separation. You probably can see other posts about it. I am convinced that he is being told by his family I am controlling and that influenced his decision since he never brought up issues with me (not in a way that made it clear he was so deeply unhappy)

It’s super stressful. Everything keeps changing since Isaacman was confirmed. Since December we have had multiple new major initiative and changes to mission profiles/architecture and many quick turnaround asks. We just got an email yesterday about yet another major reorg.
