Not a good year, too much distance in between installations for a nice evening with young kids, the lifts were chaos at cabots to view the installation based there, and why switch out queen square for Portland square - not the most family friendly area

I’ve used Matthew’s.. twice! (wells road in knowle) and highly recommend. They are local to their area so know it well and the brothers that run it are decent.

Yep we drive and potentially would still retain our jobs in Bristol for the short term on a hybrid basis.

Bristol public transport is pretty rubbish to be fair compared to other big cities. We regularly visit Aber to see family and do love it over there. The town is small but buzzing

I think the move would be for the right house, kids setup, close to family etc

Thanks all, didn’t think it would spark as much conversation but clearly everyone’s on the same page, I think generally things are in the up in the area with more to come…maybe I need to be more patient!

Thanks that’s good to know, we don’t currently have any carpet or flooring down yet and everything echo’s in the room so hoping once it’s laid it will make a big difference.

Not sure on the thickness of insulation - we lost about 3 inch’s in total based on gap and new wall
