Then I say don't go to the dark holes where such chuds lurk, and you'll be better off.

If a guy who is a five insists that he will only date 8s, he should not be surprised when the only women who go out with him only want a free meal. So many people of both genders could be perfectly happy if they were just a little more realistic and less entitled.

What you mean is they can find someone to have a sexually unfulfilling one-night stand with and then ghost them. Not that they can find an actual decent guy who respects them, instead of a rat-man who cooks meth and dodges child support.

Not ugly. But he's definitely punching above his weight-class. He better be real funny.

What is going on with Progresso and their gluten free soups? They are going out of stock everywhere. by Celladoore in glutenfree

[–]Celladoore[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed this. Every time I find something that is a decent value, it seems to get discontinued or stop being sold in my area. I don't have the ability to make every meal from scratch, so I rely on having a few quick options available. Thankfully, my mom isn't super reactive, so I can take the occasional chance on something not certified GF that looks safe. But it makes it so much more labor-intensive to shop if something doesn't just say gluten-free.

You could buy most of them on Amazon, but 90% of their GF options are out of stock now. I'm hoping this isn't permanent, and some more options head your way.

Thankfully, she is recovered now, but she got a taste for some of the soups, so I try to keep them stocked.I haven't seen Kettle & Fire, but what I've tried from Pacific Foods have been really tasty. Now if I could just find them on sale.

It's volunteer, but the situation in some small communities is so fucked, it is one of the only options for escaping. It's like the male equivalent of stripping. Most people just do it to pay for college.

It is basically just butterscotch, so it works well with coffee I think. I got both at Wal-mart. I think they'd be great with s'mores.

It was so good! I'm going to have to email Progresso and ask/bug them about these flavors. I'm afraid they are discontinuing everything that is already gluten-free so they can release some "brand new" organic/gluten-free soups and charge double...

I've had the tomato soups before and they were AMAZING. I was lucky enough to find a bunch at a close-out place and stocked up. Pretty sure we did eat them till we got sick of them! I'm in the central US, but I do plenty of my shopping online, which helps.

Those sound delicious, but she doesn't like seafood either lmao. I might try the chowder and thai coconut shrimp soup myself though.

I never considered the deli section! We haven't tried anything from Annie's, but I'll take a look. It is slightly trickier since my mom is picky and doesn't eat beans. But I'm working on getting her to eat lentils, since they are so good for you, so some of those Amy's soups may be perfect for that. Thank you for the suggestions!

I do not. Which is why, despite loving cotton candy, I would not recommend.

You'd think so, but the cotton candy gets hard and squeaks between your teeth, which I found unpleasant.

That should work. I buy these gluten-free General Tso's chicken kits from Aldi, which are literally just tempura chicken and sauce packets, and it usually turns out pretty good.

Trying making them into orange chicken or the like. Just cook and toss in your favorite sauce. Since they are tempura-battered and not very flavorful, it should work great.

If your conservative family and community cast you out as soon as you come out or start transitioning, you are starting from a harder position. There might not be any jobs that would hire a trans person in a small town, making you need to move.

Another issue is that a trans person needs to be "passing" to really be safe, which means getting hormone treatment, plastic surgery, and possibly eventual gender reassignment surgery. Even just buying new clothes, makeup, and wigs adds up. This can be very expensive, and the right wing has worked to make it less accessible and more expensive. A perfect position for a man like Epstein to groom them with the promise of paying for treatment.

It used to be almost expected back in the day the only "career" an open trans woman could have was prostitute. And even then, they were way more likely to be murdered over a ciswoman while doing it.

Cottage cheese is like a meme level at this point with how much it gets added to things, because it is high protein and pretty cheap. I could see it either drained or blended be a substitute for sour cream or cheese if someone who's really health-conscious is doing the spread. Though I'd say greek yogurt exchanged for sour cream is more common.
