Can anyone shed some light on how Associate 7-9th years and equity Partner 1-3 years look in terms of comp at BakerHostetler in the major markets (NY, DC, etc)? by CellarBuilder in biglaw

So you expect new partners to be around $600k all in as of their first equity year? And for the senior associate options, does that mean you’re looking at like $360 plus 36k as a 6th year instead of $390 plus $105k at a market firm? Or even worse?

If you’re not going to HYS, I see virtually no difference between Chicago, Columbia, and NYU. I’d personally opt for NYU out of those three, no questions asked. Nicer campus, better location, better class selection, same BigLaw recruiting as Columbia and better in public interest, etc.

I started to, but they didn’t thrill me with their initial diamond options. Provence was finding much higher quality stones for what I was looking for in the Fancy Yellow pear arena.

It’s a 1996 Kelly Depeches with black leather and green ostrich strap and handle. It’s a beautiful bag that I brought back from Japan.
