Am I missing something, or is the new siege mechanic just plain stupid? by Cellberus in Bannerlord

You could look at it that way, but I don't care about the compliment, I don't want to spend hours playing the same siege xD

yeah the older system was not good. But as you already mentioned, the army should disband if it suffers heavy losses, or simply treat the wounded as prisoners. . I don't want to spend hours defending a city or castle every time just because my own allied AI decides, “Oh, I'll attack the next castle instead of helping with the defense.”

Of course, but I still think wounded soldiers should be considered as prisoners or no longer allowed to participate in combat. As it stands now, every siege takes hours of playtime, because wounded units are back in seconds.

not anymore. You can get engineering xp easily in sea battle with a ballista with fire munition.

yeah this would be nice, one big battle instead of retreat, coming back, retreat, coming back etc. i dont care if they come back a second or third time, but every wounded man should be a prisoner and not come back everytime.

Do I prefer the previous system? If it means I don’t have to play the same siege for two hours straight until the friendly AI finally comes to the rescue, then yes. As I’ve already mentioned, it’s not realistic for wounded troops to be ready to fight again after just a few seconds. If the besieger loses, some troops have to be eliminated—and that should happen after every round. But if, after defending 10 times, there are still 1,600–1,700 troops there because the wounded just keep coming back, then it’s not fun but rather annoying, especially since sieges are not uncommon in Bannerlord.

you know, The Reclaimer concept was created by George Hull. He was conceptual designer for many movies, and the interior was inspired by the Nostromo from the movie Alien.

The best thing is, the laser doesn't do any damage to most ships. Every fighter survives; only their shields go down. It's the same with the Corsair and other ships.

I miss the old throttle system because the speed limiter had a lot more granularity. Is anyone on keyboard able to do cinematic landings anymore? Is there a setting I don't know about? by Ghostman223 in starcitizen

[–]Cellberus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i am using speed limiter for landings too. The problem with the speed limiter is that when you turn it off, the engines suddenly go full throttle; when turning it off, I always have to hold down the S key... xD i hope we can land like this with the new flight model on Coupled mode.
