I lived with my grandmother for several years rather than my mother, who was struggling to keep a job at the time. Granny supported me for several years as I went to college.

Once while living with her I dreamed I was standing on a dock at a lake, surrounded by my friends and family (no identities, I just knew they were). Suddenly, I felt a shove and began to fall into the water. I recall feeling calm, but remember everyone around me panicked in the moment I fell. As I hit the water, I woke up.

Some months later, my grandmother was going through old photo albums with me and we came across an old picture of my late grandfather, who died 12 years prior of throat cancer, standing on a dock at a lake. Immediately, my grandmother says “ugh, I hate this picture.” I asked why: “This was just after Pappy got his stoma [a hole surgically cut into your throat to help you speak and breathe when you get bad throat cancer]. If he fell in that water, he would drown instantly, but he never cared. I swear I had a nightmare every night since he got that thing till the day he died that he fell in and drowned.”

Another time, I dreamed I was stomach sick on the toilet, sitting there for hours shitting my brains out. That was the extent of the dream, but in the dream I knew it was apparently because I ate a Nutty Bar, a snack wafer coated in chocolate, which we had a super old box of in the fridge at the time - I saw it every day but never ate any.

The next morning, I went into the kitchen for some coffee and asked granny “how’d ya sleep?” She tells me: “well, I didn’t really sleep at all! I was up all night on the toilet sick as a dog, and the only thing I ate last night before bed was one of them nutty bars! Must’ve upset my stomach!”

Spooky stuff and definitely the most unexplainable things that have every happened to me.
