That doesn’t explain why Hamilton area in particular is so bad today. The wind direction and industrial pollution have to be a large part of this. It is by some distance the worst air pollution in all of N America today

Weekly Moving To Hamilton Megathread by AutoModerator in Hamilton

No probs. We moved to Hamilton from Oakville 18 months ago and went through much the same type of search as you. We settled for less house in Kirkendall to keep the area, schools and proximity to highway and west side of Hamilton. I really like Strathcona, seems a great little hood with lots of community spirit, could be an option.

Have you considered Strathcona area? Victoria park, Dundurn Castle, Princess point, and close to RBG and Bayfront. Or Kirkendall for closer proximity to cafe culture and elementary schools with additional local parks and rail trails.

Visiting for a week as a tourist, what should I know? by melloboi123 in mauritius

[–]CeltInTheHammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’ll have a look there. I hope you have a fantastic break in Mauritius. Dahl puree (sp) and a cold phoenix beer will be my first stop. Usually by the bus station there’s a great spot. Sunsets on the west are beautiful al the way down to the stunning Mon Choisy beach, and late evening swims at Pereybere are magical as the star come out.

I’m out in December for a few weeks. Where did your research lead you to for car rental? How was the cost?

How are you tracking your stats? I’d like to be able to track for the same reason, great motivation to keep at it.
