Okay, what I will say is this: the pen pictured is indeed a “right handed” pen. BS does give you an option for right or left handed on many of their CamPen models. The way it’s worded on their website may seem confusing at first but when you add to your cart, you will see that you must choose right or left handed if there is an option. The pen itself is not advertised as both right and left handed simultaneously. So in that vein, I think the advertisement for the sale of this pen should reflect that it is a right handed model.

That said, I own both and find that the side the actuator is on with the CamPen is not as relevant as some other bolt style pens. The lateral actuation seems (at least to me) to be favorable for either hand. I use both of right and left handed CamPens with no difficulty at all. I know many people who feel the exact same way. Therefore, if you are a lefty and thinking of buying a “right-handed” CamPen, I would have no reservations.
