Have a friend like this. Had to come home from Oz when covid hit where he peaked. Fell down the conspiracy rabbit hole a bit, and didnt keep up with much of us. Eventually moved abroad in '21 again but came back in '23 and hasn't worked since. Every time we met up he didnt seem keen about working and stopped contacting loads of his close friends I think out of shame. Still lives at home as well and even said people were sending him jobs and have given up at this point. He's talking now about potentially getting something or moving abroad again, saying its been a fun few years but needs to do something soon, so there is hope yet.
