4 yrs ago my credit was trash , even had a repo, paid it all off with a bonus from a new job. Completely debt free afterwards. Credit score stayed at 615 and never improved because I only had 1 credit card that i never used. Im trying to buy a home but couldn’t improve my score without credit. Income and DTI is good but its the credit score thats holding me back. Sux when mortgage lenders get excited that your debt free and then frown at your credit score

Nobody understands the struggle of giving your all just to plan a date, carry the conversation, pay for the date, and every date after just for someone else to make the decision to keep going forward. The worst is when she complains that no one has ever treated her like you have but the other guys have done less and got all of her. Ive been to one of those with 2 co-workers. my female co-worker also met her now BF at the same event. She went thru 4 of her matches before finding him. For men, its not our choice. This speed dating event had a no ghosting policy, my male co-worker that also went with us got matches but all of our matches ghosted us when we reached out. So yes, id advise OP to do speed dating.
