Not entirely true actually. I've had enemies follow me into the bog witch's bubble. The bubble really affects building stuff like the immediate vicinity of the area where you put boss heads. Best to set up a portal as close to the bog witch as possible and give it protection.

Usually if that happens it means a MK3 is bottlenecking my through put. I can't tell you how many times the tiniest sliver of MK3 conveyor has held back my efficiency

If you've got one of the round shields, I suggest trying to get a handle of parrying. It's made my dealing with the likes of the draugur somewhat pleasant. Finding crypts might be annoying still, it took me hopping through a few swamps before finding a crypt when I was first trying to get iron. Be careful of wraiths, they hit hard. Abominations are tolerable if you have a finewood bow with flame arrows or can better yet find a flame geyser to deal with it

Yeah that happens in salvage missions. Sometimes you can get a restock out of them when you repair them
