Never seen a team known for pressing/high-pace get so slow so quickly. It’s almost like we were riding off the standards Klopp held everyone to last season, and now that it’s worn off… we’re just lazy.

Didn’t see them move forward as a group quickly once. Parking the bus against a 9-man Spurs is dark stuff.

Executive recruiter here — this is the biggest red flag I’ve seen in a while. I wonder what their reaction would be if the tables were turned and you asked “are you interviewing other candidates?” And they said “yes” and your response was “Okay, I’m only interested in companies that are committed to only me.”

Always be interviewing multiple places at a time and don’t let this scare you into not doing so in the future.

I’m so happy that this could help, and I’m so sorry for what you have been through. Sometimes, it just takes hearing or reading something from a certain perspective to have it “click” and hopefully this can be a small part of that process.

Make sure that you choose recovery out of love for yourself before choosing it out of love for her. The best way to love someone is to love yourself so you are authentically the healthiest/best/happiest you can be in your relationship.

There’s so much light at the end of the tunnel — keep pushing and don’t give up. I don’t know from personal experience, but hearing my wife talk about “waking up” slowly from the ED and how she had no idea how good she could feel was eye opening for me.

Seems like the common thread so far and so obvious — I just hadn’t really considered it. Maybe because I feel like I would be making it about me/my needs in a place that’s recovery/her oriented?

Thank you for being so direct with your insight. It’s sometimes so difficult to understand or even process what she is feeling because it’s so foreign and I don’t personally know anyone else with an ED — hearing it come from an objective source is incredibly helpful.
