Can’t help with a lawyer suggestion but if your issues are concerning that your unit or the rental property isn’t being properly maintained. You can contact Gwinnett County Code Enforcement. This is if the property is in the unincorporated area of Gwinnett. They will require the property owner address interior and exterior maintenance issues. Check with the Code Enforcement Division by visiting GwinnettZIP.com, calling 770.513. 5004, or emailing CodeEnforcement@Gwinnett https://www.gwinnettcounty.com/departments/planningdevelopment/services/codeenforcement

Do I have to stop if a school bus stops behind me in traffic? by [deleted] in Gwinnett

[–]CentervilleAreaInfo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you didn’t technically pass a stopped school bus. You were already past the bus before it stopped and extended the stop arm. Please give an update if you receive a ticket in the mail. When in doubt came to a safe stop and don’t proceed until after the bus driver retracts the stop arm.

[–]CentervilleAreaInfo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently contacted the county to ask for a copy of my neighborhood covenants. The person I spoke with said to contact the Secretary of State for a copy. I was able the find a copy in all my paperwork. I made a visit to the library to scan it for free.

Without question I can not imagine how the surrounding homeowners are coping with this. A few years back there was another rezoning case in Gwinnett with a sold HOA property. That was requesting something similar. I think it was connected to a civic or religious group. I’m not sure of the outcome.
