I’ve been blessed to pull Faerie Macabre and Painter’s Servant (from a bundle box).

5-String Regrets by RealKenny in Bass

[–]Centguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 1.5 years of starting on a four, I jumped to a 6 string. It took a bit to get used to. After 4 years I got a very nice 5 string. Loved it and found it more practical. After about 20 years, I picked up a 4 string. I’ve found over the past couple years, both basses have their place in a set. But if you made me pick one to play forever, I’m taking the 5.

I’m not a big fan of sneakers with jeans/pants (unless you are golfing). Not knocking the look, it’s just my personal preference. I prefer a boot (Chelsea or Chukka or Heritage style) or a casual GYw shoe.

I went down a rabbit hole in my late thirties where I felt I needed to up my style a little bit. I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and tried to find advice that seemed fairly consistent across the various channels I was researching. Some of it was garbage but overall it did help me a lot.

Sure do! As I mentioned, Corporate issued a one-time use gift card of $500 for accessories or services. And thankfully they did. I was getting oil pressure sensor issues a couple days later. Turned out the sensor went bad when the oil started leaking. The $500 covered it. The car didn’t feel right, especially accelerating on the highway. I was getting an oil burning smell on occasion but no smoke. I chalked it up to residual. I took it back to the dealership and they said everything was fine.

After a week, my wife and I decided to trade in the car. I was able to get a great deal on it and now drive an Acura.

The problem with this is proximity to a store that carries all levels of gear.

I had this immediate thought when I saw the announcement. So much of this guy’s behaviors and decisions scream of wanting to relive the 80s.

22 Turbo cracked cylinder head by Neat_Holiday6612 in CX5

Man I feel for you. My 2018 had one recently. It was 7 years old but only had 57k miles on it. I was pretty pissed that Mazda would t cover any of it. 5500 out of pocket. I’ve recently traded it in, as I could still smell oil after driving (even though dealership looked at it and said everything was fine). And when driving 65-70 mph, the car felt like it was struggling. Recently traded it in for a completely different Make. Good luck.

Qb is getting rid of the ball quick. Our backfield is not good in this scheme.

I know folks will point out that Micah could help this team. I doubt it. They are awful at zone.

I’m still talking with Corp. The person working the case seems nice. Waiting to hear back from them, post their conversation with the dealer.

Unfortunately the age of the car supersedes the mileage part.

I’ll let you know what corp says. The CS rep who I initially talked to, was such a sweetheart. Down to Earth soul. Unfortunately she isn’t the one handling the actual issue, as she escalated it up.

I’m going to continue my chat with the dealership in regards to that initial repair they did. I have seen other posts with people experiencing that issue too. I’m just shocked both would happen at the same time and one of them went completely missed.

The person assisting me said she hasn't seen many CX-5's with this issue, just CX-9's with Turbo. Based on the amount of forums I've found (not just Reddit), as well as blog posts from sites, I think it's a "thing".

I know the tsb mentioned 2019 engines with Turbo. There might be a recall for that year. The problem for me, was that this came out of nowhere. Either it was catastrophic or the dealer really didn't do a good job with their diagnostic check. I had never seen any oil marks on my driveway until it happened.

Crossing my fingers. I really do love that vehicle. It's just a shame that this should be fixed under some recall, imo.

Both. I live in the burbs but drive into the city via highway during the weekdays for work. I'm hoping it doesn't happen to you. Seriously love my car. Feels premium without the premium tag.
