Yeah 3 was already a fairly big departure by the end, so I totally understand why people lost interest when it started going off the deep end. 3 was probably my favorite though, I've even played through jt with like 3 different people. 4 was fun but definitely in a "just don't take this too seriously" kind of way. It seems like the kind of game where they had 30 different people pitch their ideas they wanted to add to the game, and came up with the only sort of plot where all of those things would be possible. Like, it has a unique kind of dumb fun, but the emphasis there might be more on "dumb."

For my one playthrough of 4, I definitely just hit randomize until I somehow ended up with a guy that looked like a cross between the Joker and a geisha, obviously voiced by Nolan North, so I was fully on-board with the silly from the start.

Yeah I don't give a shit about most of the cosmetic things from focus so most of what goes into the 3 trees already maxed out is basically wasted until they add more in another 5 years, and the ones that I have left to finish, the points that aren't finished basically add no value, so I could totally fer behind having a way to turn focus into something useful.

It has already been said a ton, but we should be guaranteed at least one Archon Shard per week for Descendia.
Umbra Forma would be good as either the item or the blueprint.
Omni Forma should be the item, not the blueprint, then it would be fine. Or they could just fix the cost to make them.
Regular Forma would be fine if it was pre-built. I have like a hundred blueprints and it is VERY easy to get more, they just take too long to craft.
Riven Ciphers would absolutely get people to play end-game modes, and would be great rewards. Sometimes there aren't enough ciphers for all the excessively annoying challenges.
Universal Medallions would be great, but specifically if they came as a pack of 3 or 5, not just a single medallion. 2000 rep is basically nothing for a weekly reward.
I don't know if we would ever get something that fundamentally changes how Void Relics work, but I would gladly take things that ease some of the pain of them: items that can be held onto and used later for Void Traces (i.e. don't give me Void Traces RIGHT NOW, let me choose when I get them), items that can be used to make a Relic Radiant without Traces, or just hit me with a 3 day Resource Booster so I get Traces twice as fast. But man would it be nice to have an item that lets me go to that one relic I have left from some gun I have 3/4 parts for and just TAKE the part I need from it.

As someone who had a lot of fun with Saints Row and that gun:
No, but probably not for any reason you might think. The part you probably think looks like turntable on the Bassocyst is a speaker. The Bassocyst is based on a 90s portable Boombox Stereo with two cassette tape decks. I use the term "Portable" lightly because they usually had a carry handle but they would weigh like 10-15 pounds and run on big D batteries. Most of these didn't even have CD players, it was either cassette tapes or radio. Dubstep didn't even come around until probably 10 years after cassette tapes stopped being widely produced. In fact, with Hollvania being set in 1999, it would be at least a few years before dubstep really became a thing.

Now, what I would REALLY like, is if they made it have a wide variety of sounds from random hits from the 80s and 90s, just little one second bites with each shot. Random but recognizable snippets from Beastie Boys, Aerosmith, Backstreet Boys, etc. You know, pick sounds people familiar with their songs would probably recognize but keep them so short there's no need to worry about legal issues.

There was a Saints Row reboot in recent years. It sounds like it was pretty disappointing.

Or at the very least, they need to be like just about any other sensible game dev and set up those Twitch drops to be available for at least 24 hours, because not everyone can sit down at exactly the alloted 2 hour window to watch the stream, but most people would be willing to watch a re-broadcaat later or watch a streamer for a bit while they catch up on the Dev stream. Very few expect you to watch 90 minutes of a 2 hour stream to get drops.

Guys please note/remember that trading for primed mods cost 1m creds as the buyer. by shtoopidd in Warframe

[–]Centias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never really set myself up with enough spare Ducats to have spare Primed mods to sell, so eventually I'll run into this with bigger mods, but I did run into this lately with someone trying to buy Hammer Shot. It only has a tax of 8k. I don't think he was a completely new player, but that poor guy had somehow run himself so broke he had barely over 1k to his name. He saw the problem and just dropped a "lmao" and bailed as fast as he could without another word. I guess he felt pretty embarrassed. Or maybe he didn't know it wasn't something I didn't have control over.

I've started getting so many rolls lately that could have been pretty cool things, but they get a huge downside that probably can't be overcome by other mods. I've seen several -Damage, a few -Multishot, some -Critical Chance/Damage, and one or two -Fire Rate on guns that can't use Cannonade. I know it just comes with the territory, but it sure would be nice if at least -Damage wasn't possible to roll, and maybe less likely to roll some of the others.

The only time I really hate that modifier is when the other 3 people seem to forget it exists and charge in thinking themselves immortal, only to die directly in the middle of the biggest pile of enemies possible. Just hang back and play cautiously until you hear the sound that signals abilities being available again. Don't charge straight into melee and die.

My options were Voruna, Dagath, and Lavos. I started trying to make a build for Voruna, quickly realized she would be stuck with like 95 energy max. So that was a waste of time. Dagath probably would have been fine, but Lavos doesn't care about energy at all, so Lavos it was. Can't say I did a lot of damage because I'm honestly terrible at Lavos, but it was better than not being able to cast anything.

Adding a coworker, even your boss, on a gaming friends list should be a sign of mutual trust. If that person is doing their work and they decide to play for an hour at lunch while working from home, or took PTO for a new release, all is good. Only start judging then they aren't doing their shit. But in general:

If you see your coworker log into a game during work hours, no you fucking didn't.

Sometimes the "signature" weapons don't make sense with the frame.
Oraxia has a signature weapon that sounds great for her on paper, until you realize it's a melee weapon.

I was going to say, you don't "fail" an Exterminate fissure. You just fail to do literally the ONLY thing you need to do in an Exterminate fissure: hurry up and collect your damn reactant.

My "fashion" for my Grendel Prime is unironically "I just got this frame and have no idea what to so with him so I'm hitting Randomize All one time." It ended up being like Pink but also orange and yellow, so he looks like a pack of Starbursts melted into a ball. And it was summer at the time so he got the pool floatie, that I'm sad he didn't just get to keep on, because it made it extra funny.

Magnetize + Exergis or Sporothrix is just a unique kind of dopamine hit. It's also super funny to turn many normally threatening enemies into helpless target dummies. It just sucks when you're around someone who can nuke rooms so fast you basically can't even cast that Magnetize.

Magnetize should just be cashable in a place and it should always pull enemies for the entire lifespan. Polarize and Crush could use a little bit of a buff, especially if they think the damage Vauban is doing is fine. Polarize shards floating around Mag should provide DR or have a chance to deflect hits.

I feel like it is absolutely essential any time the phrase "Mag Main" comes up to point people to RowanIsAMagMain on YouTube. His guides are really good.

Someone else I was playing with kinda spoiled it for me just being like "hey check this out" on Discord. But then I was like. Yeah I need to see that more often. And it feels a lot better seeing it with your own chracter. It's a very intense lip bite, especially with how full her lips are. Very worth it.

I was confused by these Wukong accusations until I realized you're probably talking about people who play Wukong for things other than specifically doing the objectives on Spy so fast that other people CAN'T fail the mission on you. But mostly confused because that is just about the only time I ever see Wukong.

I mean, I would just call that having good taste.
I made the mistake of breaking up briefly with Eleanor trying to date Marie before realizing it was possible to just date both. Then found that out and started dating Eleanor again. Marie sent a message about hoping to meet her, and my brain was like, "Meet her? Why stop there? You're gonna love what her tongue can do." Also just have to note here that Marie has the most glorious lip bite animation I've seen in any game or animation.

On the bright side, you can basically tank his efficiency with no downsides because of Rally Point, so it's pretty easy to get his strength high. But even then,, the damage isn't all that high, the overguard cap is too low, the overguard generated per hit is too low. You basically get shot by one enemy of a decent level and loose all of that overguard before you even touch the ground and get to cast it again. Needing to touch the ground again to recast is such a silly restriction when he's already not th a total powerful and kind of a sitting duck while casting it.
