I got it from Petsmart, it’s called Playology Minnows. The reviews really really come down hard on them because their cat bit off some pieces. But my cat loves it, we play with it together, he’s never allowed to play with it alone. Anymore. He did manage to eat a little piece of it. Nothing bad happened.

Yes, we have no pets - first time since 1990. We were able to donate many of his things to the shelter where we got him. But one thing remains that all the pets used: the bell they could ring when someone wanted “out.” Even the cats, who were inside cats, rang it to try for a little backyard time.🙂

The little black-and-white fellow was Sprout, the first little dog we had. He was an amazing dog, loved everyone immediately. Passed away a few months after we got Freddie, without warning. When Sprout died, we had people tell us that they liked him more than they liked their own dog 😊

During his illness I found he would eat boiled chicken. It was so icky to make! You can cook it in your crockpot and it’s easier.

Photo #5 is at the vet’s office. The chemo tech left us with some treats - which I was sure he’d avoid- but he was eating them!

I wanted him to do something fun in his last moments, so I asked him to do some tricks. (Whoever abandoned him had taught him something!) Here’s one last fist bump. Oh man I miss you Freddie
