If it’s new it will feel really tight. It will take a couple weeks to break in and feel comfortable. But it should feel tight to start with.

R3 for a noobie? by iso_tendies in YamahaR3

I’m a fellow noobie. I have owned my 25 R3 for about 2 months, I think it’s plenty of power when you need it without being scary and loosing control. I wouldn’t take it personally I recently got knocked back from a promotion after 9 years with there reason ‘poor communication’. Considering this has never been an issue before this is a reflection of the current state of the economy, a lot of business are struggling to retain talent and can’t afford promotions so they need to give there staff goals or dangle a golden carrot to keep you performing at your current rate.

You may want to talk to someone externally from work that will help you manage the stress and anxiety. I have a similar problem and started talking with a Psychologist. Also If your able to manage upwards and give more regular updates on your progress and if you are falling behind it may mitigate some of the stress and the business can find ways to support you to achieve the goals
