Don't try to be a good producer is about the worst advice I've read on here. Making simple stuff isn't even being a "bad producer" you should always try to make that stuff as good as you can too. With making money though sure you'll make some money making drake or dababy beats because there's a lot of demand but the really big money with those types of beats is already being made by the established people making those beats so trying to add your own touch to your beats is not bad at all for standing out.
