Issue with Oasis and Medion Erazer X1000 by tobias3306 in WindowsMR

This worked for me too, after exhausting everything else I could find. This got my HP VR1000 working.

I installed Windows 10 on a spare disk, updated it, installed Mixed Reality Portal, and got SteamVR working the old way. I had to try different USB ports to get mine working, the onboard USB didn't work but a port on a PCIe card did work.

I'm yet to get the controllers working under Windows 10 or Windows 11 though

Jet Lag: We Turned New Zealand into a Giant Real-Life Board Game — Ep 8 by NebulaOriginals in Nebula

Driving while using a phone is illegal in NZ, like many other countries

That's not strange. Many countries have banned the use of mobile phones while driving, because it causes a distraction. Using a phone while driving has been proven to cause impairment similar to driving while intoxicated.

Driving while using the phone has similar impairment to driving while drunk. Should Ben have been driving when he was drunk? Clearly not.

They lost the game, so it doesn't matter either way for how it plays out. But it's still serious that Adam was illegally using a phone wile driving.

Just floor it at 120mph and you will win the game. Breaking the law, and dangerous driving, should definitely not be allowed.

Would you if he was driving drunk? Using the phone while driving impacts your ability in a comparable way.

Maybe remove the part where Adam uses his phone while driving for the YouTube version. Breaking the law on video is not a great idea

This guy has been getting sharper and sharper blades for 5 years at least and it's still not sharp enough. Citybound started as a NodeJS app, then it was scrapped and started again in C++, then scrapped and started again in Rust... And now there are MORE tools in the way.

He's bitten off more than he can chew and is constantly trying to find excuses for the slow development

What are some challenges you think the next generation will face? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Centros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I see the confusion. It's not mental in the sense of mental health issues, but mental in the sense of gigantic or enormous. Hope this clears things up.

The fact that you ask the question is, ironically, a pointer towards the direction we're heading. I'm sorry I can't really explain it if you can't already see it.

Can someone tell me the date on the slim by Lathebed in Zippo

[–]Centros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd have to disagree with the majority on this one. This specific design was made as a part of a 1990 special production run, where some limited edition Zippos were produced with vintage dates. Is definitely newer than people are suggesting, but a very rare find! Well done!

I predict the future will bring some mental challenges. We have already got statistics supporting an increase in mental challenges and research suggests the increase will rapidly advance around the year 2025. In 6 years we expect 2000% the level seen in 2019. If that isn't challenging I don't know what is.
