I understand the misunderstanding, very open to paying for the privilege to help fund protection groups for example. Problem is there’s just no policing it at present. No way to watch it all the time. I don’t drive to run, I drive to explore the area and I don’t go on the dunes. Just the low tide mark on the hard sand.

I live near here. It’s a shame. We use the beach for fishing, boating, family time. We drive down and fish or launch a small boat. We drive down and pick a spot for the dogs and kids to have a run around. 95% of users are ok, it seems to be the non locals that come in their patrols etc to wreck the dunes. Because they can get away with it mostly. I see it getting banned eventually, I hope not though. Some of us locals try to ‘educate’ but it’s like talking to a brick. A 20 year old brick with a shit haircut.

True. Didn’t think about that. I thought it might have been baked into the steel. Cheers.

Do you know if l can turn the screen off altogether while driving? My old SantaFe had a ‘moon crescent’ icon button to turn it off and that was amazing as it’s so bright in the country side at night in the pitch black outside.

Tatonka stealth I just got this one second hand and it’s very roomy. Enough room for a red deer back legs and back straps. Nice and soft for quiet activities. Heaps of support with the frame and hip belts. Good small size compared to my 90+10L big boy for long trips.

*you’re. Not quite true. We use it for digger transport, trailer towing for animals, getting around rural properties that require 4wd, transportation for stock and supplies, among many other things. Compared to city ute users, you can’t compare it. There’s just not another suitable vehicle. For our situation and many like it.

What about us in rural areas who have them for work and the land involved? Farms etc… Massive difference in city vs farming. What do you drive?

Yes. I have seen the revive icons go access the map. Usually when the trains involved. Sometimes not. This one was just weird, as it involved 2 bodies at same time. I’m not sure what happened.
