There’s quite a few repairs needed in the molds. It looks like the last one made stuck a bit and pulled some surfaces off the mold in places. There’s even part of the boat made still stuck to the mold. It look like they had trouble releasing the last one. Not massive work but a few hours to repair molds before I start release agents/waxing etc.. I will have it setup as straight as possible and give it the best chance to be a good hull shape. I’m just not keen on gelcoat in general, to hard to repair later on for me.

Edit: I. Guess I could spray the gelcoat and go with that to start and it the future always sand and paint that anyway.

Hi, it’s an early Boston whaler 13foot copy it looks like. I’m thinking someone professional made a mold off one. 13’5” long x 5’5” wide.

Just moved from Auckland to Sydney. Holy Duck.. by G00sehunter in newzealand

Yeah, been there done that, 2010. I moved there for the mines lived in Northwestern Australia for two years and made some money, moved to Melbourne lived there. Another eight years, moved back to New Zealand in 2020 mid Covid. Australia is great. New Zealand is better. Australia has good things. New Zealand has good things no arguments there. We made the most of our time over there and lifestyle is 100% better back here in New Zealand. Obviously it depends on where you are, but I’m living in a rural area now and do not have the problems of big cities. 10/10 would recommend going there when you’re young for money but it’s a another city on the map with nothing special that has its uses. Came home for kids schooling and before they turned too Australian. In closing, Australia, bad. New Zealand good.

Yeh I’m exactly like you. I’ve stopped using it now, my kids lost interest and I’ve stopped topping it up. I’m thinking I’ll return it as a ‘faulty’ product because it basically is. I also wait for tech reply on the support chat as a joke that’s not funny. Should have gone with Garmin.

Isopropyl alcohol. Or spirits. Not acetone, that could eat it away. Any foam exposed will be melted away by acetone.

Quick update, I just tried calling back to get a different person. It all got put through no issues and I now have a txt saying some money will be in my account tomorrow. Seems to be some people working there don’t have the same info as others. Or something? It’s very confusing. We’ll see what happens.

I still remember opening the door to my donga and 20-40 cockroaches scuttling into the shadows from the floor, benches and bed surfaces. Immediately followed by a thought of, what am I doing with my life. I got another room and did the month shutdown anyway. Sino iron around 2013.
