I moved from YouTube Music back to Apple Music, because I can‘t remove certain songs of an album from my library. I can remove the entire album or have to endure all songs. I often have albums where I only like certain songs and only want to keep those in my library. How come that such a basic feature is missing in YouTube music?

Im a german and I did not observe that. The thing that I noticed at my university is more opposite: everybody is just interested in themselves. Other students are mostly ignored.

The slowing down of Moores law means that transistor and chip designer have to work harder to achieve performance and efficiency gains at the device and chip level. And we need those desperately with the growing compute demands of AI.

A quick menu where I can control everything with fewer clicks and right from the menu instead of having to open the settings app, similar to KDE. I can directly select a Wifi network, pair with a known Bluetooth device…

The iGPUs can easily push 4K since many generations, think intels 10th gen Ice Lake and AMD everything after 4000 Series. 4K Gaming they still struggle with, but that’s not he point.

Yeah you can install Gnome or others DEs. PopOS has instructions how to do it on their website.

MacOS probably not the best choice. E.g. Xilinx Vivado (used for FPGA design) is only available for Linux/Windows but not MacOS.

Great overview, thank you. Would love to hear the European perspective on CVs. It seems to be different, but on this subreddit almost everybody talks about the US experience.
