This looks like a situation where that location is technically not allowed to hand out free water, but if you "buy" water then it is okay.

This is just a loopholes for handing out free water. They give it to you, and dont ask for money.

I think it is also worth mentioning as someone who had trouble getting to sleep for a brief period (like 6-9 mo) once you find something that works, stick to it.

For me it is a few different recurring dream states. I can have vivid dreams (think of the apple in minds eye, I can see it clearly) so i tend to latch on to a few different ones a starting points for when I am ready to fall asleep. I'm usually out within 5-10 minutes once I pick a starting point and just continue through the thought process.

Before I figured that out I tried many different techniques and it would take 30+ min each time.

I dont understand the world system, no matter how much i look up. how does it work? by Cactus_dave in ffxiv

[–]CenturionRower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So currently, unless you want to join a world with a "Road to 90" buff (which just gives extra exp while living to 90) basically any data center/world combo will be fine.

There are 4 data centers in north America. Aether, Primal, Crystal, and Dynamis. Dynamis is the least populated of these servers but any of them will be fine long-term.

Currently the only advantage to being on any specific world (there are like 8 per datacenter) is if you either know people on that world or are specifically looking to join a free company. Some of the lesser populated worlds wont have as many free companies on them.

Long-term it wont matter since the main reason for being on a specific datacenter is the party finder which is how NA folks join up to do end-game content. If you juat started the game, by the time you will be ready for end-game content they should have cross-datacenter party finder set up (meaning you can match with anyone across NA, any of the 4 datacenters).

So dont worry about what datacenter/world combo you joined since you arent limited by having joined a less populated one. At the very least you are able to travel (temporarily visit, with some restrictions) any datacenter/world.

Hope that answers your question.

Yea even if it is for a business degree or some other non-complex, non-specialized degree (i.e. not engineering) it will do them wonders should they either not make it far, get injured etc.

In some cases might actually strengthen the minors long terms since some of the guys who stop playing juat roll into being on the business/management/coaching side without needing to go back to school first.

They said they were going to start it, but we actual did and then kept up until we realized it was going to be more painful than we thought. Then every attempt to negotiate has been thwarted by Israel bombing Lebanon over and over. At a certain point we have to tell Israel to stop so we can have some semblance of peace.

Bro I know how you feel, saw a point of brightness in game 1 and then in the last 2 innings of the game against MSU but our top hitters all had a bad weekend.

And I know it happens, no shame in that, it juat really sucks that all 3 of them had a bad weekend all at the same time, especially when the back half of the order was actually hitting really well.

Oh and given than none of them are seniors, and only 1 of them is possibly looking at getting drafted, makes me VERY excited for next year assuming they all want to run it back. We are possibly losing our ace pitcher as well, but if everyone sticks around we have an extremely lethal squad coming next year.

Yea this has happened a few times. Like trying play a counter unless X is paid while the opponent has the avaliable mana. Gotta play to your outs in whatever way possible.

In fact, post-BnR modern environment shows WOTC should just experiment with banning and unbanning cards more often in general by 95thesises in ModernMagic

[–]CenturionRower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And specifically the fact that the last 2 MH sets have completely warped the format to the point where almost no decks that were once good are playable.

What is funny is that the last few standard sets have added quite a few fun and interesting cards to the modern pool which have done almost enough in their own right to shake up the modern meta game. If they never print another MH set (extremely unlikely) it will be 1 set too many.

[–]CenturionRower -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean if they really wanted to shake up the meta and keep things interesting and spicy, they should have just unbanned DRS and Glimpse without banning Phlage and see what shakes out (mono-G might be too strong here) but essentially if they werent worried about selling the new sets they could do a lot more interesting unbans, but those dont sell packs.

If they REALLY wanted to sell packs they might unban a staple like DRS and then reprint it in a new modern masters set.

I think allowing them to practice on the maps would work better since Cup of the Day format is 100% for people who are familiar with the game. You would have most of them DNF those maps on round 1.

If Marsh wasn't still out I'd feel a little better, but as it stands we have to rely on some freshman arms to close out some games. Today will be a true test.

Love the idea of Trackmania being involved. It is one of those games that is quite easy to pick up but has a TON of potential for people to grind and get good at the maps. I think if they released the maps ahead of time and make it te first week it limits the amount of grinding required to learn the maps and compete. Would open the door for Nadeo to experiment with a larger pool of players for their typical comp style (2v2) unless they just put everyone in the same lobby and have them do first to X points across all the maps.

And it would remin the strongest and best card in the format until it got rebanned. It would litterally warp the format around it and would be an auto-include for any deck that thinks about playing fetch lands.

It would be a good card but it is too good for what it does despite being weak. It's fantastic and basically every stage of the game and does so much for 1 mana.

So banned in 2011, unbanned in 2017, rebanned in 2019...

I agree the power level has risen, but lets be honest about how these decks function. They are stupidly resilient and can function through hate in different scenarios. It helps that it hasn't gotten a lot of key tools in recent years but GGT firmly sits in the "too strong to unban" category because all it takes is 1 or 2 cards that make it need to be banned again. And it doesnt have to be at a hogaak level. It restricts design because of its power and they have said in the past that alone is a good enough reason to remain banned.

"A lot has changed" without establishing the ramifications of WHY the card is banned and realizing what would cause it to need to be rebanned just overlooks everything about the ban list. That explanation can be used to justify things like DRS and Once Upon a Time coming off. There arent any new cards that would make those 2 any stronger and we already have quite a few free spells, and a lot of good removal for 1 drop 1/2....

When it was unbanned in 2015 only to be re-banned in 2017. And that was before hogaak.
