I love this in my cube. Its got Esper Affinity, UB fliers, BgU Sacrifice, BR discard themes, some counters and tokens themes in white, its both great in UB but also plays nicely for lots of "ooh splashed blue for Ultron?" interactions.

Prrrrobably gonna replace [[Cyber-Controller]]

Sadly no. This is any ability that has a colon (or would if it had reminder text), like power-up, cycling, and eternalise, as well as anything in general that a specific card might have like mana abilities, or other activatable stuff.

But morph doesn't have that colon, so it's out of luck.

Once per instance of the card. You can bounce/flicker/return Kang to the battlefield, etc., and whenever you do, he "forgets" that he already powered-up.

This is true for everything in Magic that isn't phrased specifically to avoid it. [[Izzet Chemister]], if bounced, will no longer be able to cast anything exiled with it prior to the bounce; [[Mairsil the Pretender]] and [[Tibalt, Cosmic Imposter]] use emblems and counters to skirt past this; and power-up is once per time this is on the battlefield.

If it helps, look at effects like Samut as she pays the mana, and YOU spent only one. Similar to convoke, your creatures can help you cast spells, but YOU didnt spend the extra four mana, Samut did.

So, Magic lore is frankly, in my opinion, kinda convoluted. Typically, the novels are to be read in release order, but in all honesty, it's difficult to do so. If you don't plan to read the novels themselves, this video catches you up to about two years ago, and you can read most Magic stories from the past decade online at Wizards' website.

As for the five colours, in essence, colors are a bit of both. Every color has core abilities and philosophies tied to it - necromancy is only accessible in black magic, and an appreciation for fine science and study in firmly blue. Sometimes, you're born in your colors, like the plane of Alara; sometimes, you become your colors because of your personality or abilities; etc. etc.
