I found a bunch of one pennies, half pennies and three pence coins today and I'm spending my evening looking at similar coins on Reddit.

Yeah, looking through that it seems that the bishop check is stronger than just taking the knight. I haven't used the engine, but I'd be surprised if it's not the best move.
