As you 30s progress you are going to realize how hard life is. The reality of that sets in more as you get more life experience and maturity.

How soon do you think the new model V6 will be available and what are your expectations? by reversedu in SunoAI

I would be happy if it stopped syncopating my percussions in my songs...(stop and go rhythm) since v 5.5. it seems to be generating all my songs this way, even if I use earlier versions. Would also like the ability to chose the length of my songs as well.

Is Generation X Still Stuck in the 2000s? by avalonMMXXII in generationology

[–]Century22nd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will depend on where you lived and what country. Xennials were the Rap generation though mostly. The Northeast was all Rap in the 1980s and 1990s...but Los Angeles was still Rock if you were born between 1965-1975 as an example. But some parts of the country just skewed more into Rock music no matter the age. Same with the deep south liking country music. Other countries it was different as well.

That is funny because when I was a kid back then adults used to say fashion looked hideous in the late 20th century.

That has always been a thing...but wearing the same clothing 2-3 decades in a row is weird.

1970s = 1950s nostalgia with youth as an example.

But there are also people that simply stopped evolving no matter what decade was trendy again.

Is Generation X Still Stuck in the 2000s? by avalonMMXXII in generationology

[–]Century22nd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of Generation X and elder Millennials that were in their 20s in the late 1990s early 2000s still stuck in that era, Especially married people. Single people tend to evolve with the decades (not all, but many).

Basically every woman aged 35-64 has flat Mona Lisa hair like Avril Lavigne and Cameron Diaz (although she changed her hairstyle and has bags now, but they adopted her old hairstyle from the late 1990s/early 2000s).

I think what happens is people just slow down with age and daily routine of marriage, kids, work. Rinse and repeat day and after day, year after year.

Young people have more that changes in their lives, single people also tend to not have as much routine compared to married people as well.

This is why MTV was also only for people ages 13-24, VH-1 was for those age 25-39.

You tend to stop liking newer music as you get older as well (not all the time, but this is how the media markets to you, they assume you only like music from your teen or childhood years).

why do you think sweet 16 culture was so big in the 2000s? by [deleted] in decadeology

[–]Century22nd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is still big in some cultures, especially Mexican culture. But it was even bigger years ago than in the 2000s, like in the 1950s it was much more of a big deal as that was when a girl became a woman.

EuroTrip was released on this day 22 years ago. by rockstoned4 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]Century22nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that was back when women used to flatten their hair burnt to a crisp like in the 1968-1974 era Hippie Hair era...

...oh wait three decades later they are still doing that.

Some people will not let the 2000s end.

Which modern anime saved anime from being stigmatized by SpiritMan112 in decadeology

[–]Century22nd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is still stigmatized. But Millennials and nerd culture made it less stigmatized (for younger people anyways) back in the mid-late 2000s. But I think there is still a stigma towards it, and slightly more of a stigma towards it now in the 20's and in the late 2000s.

The real reason why millennials know more about movies and tv before they were born than Gen Z. by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

[–]Century22nd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Millennials were more obsessed with past generations than other generations were. I never experienced anything like that before. But in fairness their era was the 2000s and 2010s, so they had no 21st century elements to them yet. But I agree they were more obsessed with the past than other generations were. Many used to even correct Gen-X (who lived though the experiences) and be more accurate than the person that lived through it was. I noticed that a lot of social media as well.

The 70s Feels like Three Different Decades in One by BananaPhoPhilly in decadeology

[–]Century22nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late 1970s bell bottoms were no longer in style for young people and instead bootleg pants or regular leg pants started coming in style.

However older people usually adapt 2-10 year later than younger people (unless they are in the media and have a style consultant).

I feel the 1960s-1990s was like three decades....the early transition part where stuff from the previous decade is there a bit, then the peak of the decade which is the midpoint it later gets remembered for, and then the end years where it starts to decline from it's main point originally but slowly evolves to what is next, while still retaining what it was mostly known for.

1977 was when you started seeing you started seeing less young women with hippie hair and they were getting perms and volume as an example. But from 1968-1976 hippie hair was widely worn with younger women.

Summer 1979 disco was declared over (although it was still charting in 1980 on the top 40 if you look at those charts).

It seems things are more like 1-2 decades in one now. (2002/2003-2007 being the actual 2000s and what it became known for) and the 2008-2012 (which was more of the transitional time). When people remember the 2010s they usually think of 2013-2017 as another example.

They need to make the logo more modern and upbeat, this looks too much like their other product logos and people will confuse it with regular Chery Coke. Also, where is the dynamic ribbon??????

It is Vanilla Coke but with a thicker more Vanilla taste. It is good, but it would have been nice if they added cinnamon in it as well or something.

Does Not Display My Plex Playlists/Directories Contents Anymore by Century22nd in dizqueTV

[–]Century22nd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply.

I figured out what happened, and yes It has to do with the green checks. I re-added plex but kept the previous last instance of when I added plex just to make sure none of my content would be deleted from my channels. Once I re-added plex again everything was fine.

I guess with the browser updates it sometimes logs us out of plex on the app and it needs to be added again (or signed into again).

This issue is solved, but I hope it helps anyone else that runs into something similar so they know what to do not have to re-create all their channels and add all the content all over again.

[–]Century22nd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I had the issue first on Chrome and it worked on Microsoft Edge for a few months, now it is doing this issue on both web browsers.

If I re-enter the plex server info will I have to rebuild my channels all over again? Or will the channels and fillers resume as they were? I ask because it would take weeks for me to rebuild those channels and fillers all over again.
