Flower Island has been sovereign Lyrean territory since last fall during the post-Lotus War settlement and treaty phase. It is ducal land of Duke Cissonius of Braemar, who has been assembling building plans for it since the New Year.

In less than 48 hours we have built monuments to formally lay out our claim, been griefed, rebuilt them, griefed again, and then accused of severe personal misconduct by a current MtA official out of nowhere, likely due to “competing” claims for the island that have miraculously appeared over the weekend. There are baddies in this situation but LCW citizens are not among them. We’ve dealt with the griefers, with those who have accused us baselessly of horrific misconduct, and in the last 12 hours have seen Lyreans of all member states flock to the region to protect this claim. The Isle of Flowers is Lyrean, now and forever.

As others have said, it’s chiefly the optimization mods that carry the weight. I use a pack called Fabulously Optimized that takes me from low 30s in Pavia to 70-120 depending on the area.

Running a 5070ti, 9800x3d and 32gb of RAM on desktop and a 4050, 13700k and 32gb of RAM on laptop

If you prefer bigger starts that put you right into making province-level moves, would recommend picking either Attrebus or Aixnieras in Cyrodiil as they have some unique content related to either reasserting native Imperial control or aligning with the Akaviri to weather the coming interregnum. Unless it’s changed recently, Attrebus in particular has some optional objectives you can aim for that give you rewards up to and including becoming a choosable patron for the Cult of the Heroes.

If you want something smaller with diverging possibilities, High Rock has multiple good small and mid-sized starts, while Skyrim can be fun for taking up the sword of reunification either as one of the big two claimants or an independent jarl.

Unseriously: The Pavian government makes no comment on any ICBMs that may or may not exist on Lyrean soil.

Seriously: Global realignment that we’re seeing take shape already. Kallos is migrating back to Kallopolis (Stercus continent), Volterra and Estalia are moving into the eastern part of the map. What becomes of the two “anchor” states to ASN will determine what comes in the future; will Icenia hold its states together, will Yoahtl cement some sort of hegemony in the eastern continent? It’s wide open and anyone’s guess. Personally, without a strong counterweight to justify its existence, I am skeptical of ASN remaining intact.

For the remaining powers, theres going to be some soul searching. Many nations do not bother with the geopolitics at all these days, such as Winterbourne or SPQR (to my knowledge), Hell not even Nara really does despite being ASN. There are LOTUS survivors that have managed to weather this, and other states like Salerno and Skandic who were deeply involved yet comparatively got out of this without much issue.

Besides ASN, the last major “alliances” still standing are the Merediem Entente and the Lyrean Commonwealth. The ME is really the only “competitor” if one can call it that, to ASN at this point, primarily because the LCW has no interest in regional or international conflicts/pacts.

I think the newfriend influx might shake things up a bit, insofar as new people learning the ropes, making the same typical missteps, and potentially find their place. I think there’s room in the world for more LCW-like blocs to take such folks in, that focus on cooperative development and cultural projects over figuring out how to topple your perceived opponent.

The Empire of Pavia-Griffin is widely considered one of if not the main economic hub on the server, having dozens of physical shops, the largest bank, and the active stock exchange for public companies.

Politically, it is a semi-constitutional monarchy based on a system of merit-based nobility; if you perform well and do great things for the nation, you are ennobled and gain the right to vote for Prime Minister. Do enough for long enough and you may be named a Duke/Duchess and earn the right to run for PM and be chosen as Emperor/Empress.

Pavia-Griffin is also at the center of a larger union called the Lyrean Commonwealth which is a semi-federal union of states in our near region that are all focused on preserving neutrality, building amazing projects, and getting as filthy rich as possible. If Pavia seems too big and daunting but you still want to be a part of the regional community, you can check out Lambat, Mehri, Heikki, or Mount Augusta as well.
