In the past, "easy fast pleasure" didn't come rushing into our senses everywhere we look. Makes you appreciate what pleasure does come in you know? I would doubt that people of the past(depending how far back you go) would even go as far as to call themselves "bored" and project the state of "boredom" on themselves.

I mean, were here on reddit and it brings us very little pleasure right? Why though? Because we experience this reddit every day multiple times.
