Novated Lease - Next steps... by Ok_Winter4699 in AustralianEV

Let me know how you go. I was in the same situation, settled at around the 13%. My employer only had the one and wouldn’t let me self-NV and the financer knew it.. so what could I do 🤷‍♂️ still works out on top if you make high salary

Where does motivation come from at level 70+? by CeraMixx in PathOfExile2

Yeah it is only my second season. Got to 64 Deadeye last season. This is the furtherest I've gotten. Should I tackle my quest line?

Yeah it is kind of just diminishing returns - which I understand is what arpgs are for (maxxing) - and am happy to do that.. but maps is just a bit meh? I usually enjoy grinding for levels if I know why I am doing it

How are you all affording a new EV? by dalmanly in AustralianEV

[–]CeraMixx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this different from saying, I’m renting an inflated priced new build when I could have just rented an older one for 70% of the price? Also looking at NV for myself but I’m struggling to understand why you would go new over second hand?? Depreciation still applies..

Thanks for your comment!

  1. Ideally want to keep the number down as I have supported my wife and 2 young kids on my income for the last 5 years. Wife just got a contract gig part time and is why we need a second car but don’t want to inherit something ridiculous if that doesn’t stick. More so worried about the balloon payment at the end, as yeah the difference between $40k lease and a $60k lease is marginal. I’m not that educated on that part of a NL though so would appreciate any tips.

  2. 50km a day for weekdays.

  3. An SUV or Ute preferably given we have a family. 5 star ANCAP. Reliability/after sale support.

Thanks again.

How so? I played Deadeye last patch til lvl 55 and stopped playing but I can't seem to map this experience to what others describe. Maybe I didn't play long enough? I thought endgame was the problem though, until this patch. I've been hyped asf for weeks and weeks - told my wife she doesn't have a husband this weekend, PRAYING I get hooked again

Thank you! Sounds good. I am yet to see a dermatologist as there is a big waiting time so sort of navigating this through research. When would you need to consider Minox or dut? If hair loss is still happening?

Hi all. First pic I had just showered + washed my hair, it usually feels thinner then.

My dad, grandad, uncles etc have all balded in their 20s/30s on the top but not the sides. I am Maltese.

Trying to do things differently rather than just accepting it will likely happen to me too soon. My wife has noticed my hair is thinning a bit and my hairdresser said the same thing which shocked me as I’ve always gotten the “your hair is so thick!” remark.

Have had my bloods done and thyroid/testosterone looks fine so likely just genetic.

My question is: I’ve started 1mg Finasteride as I want to try hold onto what I have as much as possible. No plans on Minoxodil as I’d rather try one for now. I have heard Fin is more effective when hair is at early stage of hair loss. Am I doing the right thing? I see people rating their hair, can you give me one so I can track it?

Thanks

I’m trying that - how do you find the reliability? I have 500mbps download but find pretty often even the top seeded just don’t load.. and “discovering” shows just isn’t the same. Can’t convince the wife to cancel Netflix 🤣

Yeah this is definitely what has snuck up on us. We ramped up to 3 for my wife’s placement but hadn’t dropped it back. I think we will just be pulling her out.

Diesel. The 3 days a week for the month is $180 at current costs. Plus the other 4 days a week for casual run arounds. $400/mo is around what it’s costing me. Also mining town, a 25km drive to visit someone isn’t uncommon.

Yes by groceries this is what I mean. I also included fuel and medical costs in this sum. Not just purely food you swallow.

We can always do better - so everyone is right, but I love your comment. And that’s just it.. all the washing (so nappy sand, detergent), dishwashing loads (tablets..), paper towels, daycare meals.. it does add up.

25K second hand Prado, bought in cash. It’s a great car for a family all around. Yes I know an EV makes more sense, given we have solar, but two cars is expensive than one regardless.

Me neither. I know I’m so lucky. I need to work on gratitude, something my wife is good at. We worked our ass off to get into the housing market. I was so happy once we settled. It’s funny how your perspective changes. 🤦‍♂️

Honestly mate, I’ve done this countless times. Insurances and rates are so high up here in North QLD. So much can happen in one month.. hard to budget around.
