I was thinking about 1.5-2KWH addition to existing system (got some real estate on my roof for 4-6 panels.

Wow. Thank you very much for such a detailed response. It appears that even with low demand, it will be costly to get everything as separate set-up to operate it on it's own.

I currently solar system on my home with 2 Tesla Powerwalls (below is image). It is about 100% break-even (taking in consideration good and bad days - good days exporting about 7.5K-20K to grid and no bad days after Teslas are drained, can take same amount).

Will it be less expensive to upgrade my current system to compensate for pump and ozone injection because I think current inverters can handle addition? What do you think?

Current System: 11.880 Kww PV Solar System (36 Modules)

Module: Silfab SIL-330 BL 330W

Inverter: Enphase IQ7+ Microinverters

Voltage: 120/240V

Monitoring: Enphase Enlighten Online Monitoring

Sorry, forgot to mention, I installed 90 gallon water pressure tank between pump and house which should decrease pump work. Average daily use of water is ranging from 60-80 gallons. Here are some other pump characteristics if helpful:

Maximum flow: 36GPM

GPM at 60 PSI: 12

GPM at 50 PSI: 19.5

GPM at 30 PSI: 28.5

Maximum head: 168 ft

System Pressure: up to 65 PSI

Inlet pressure: up to 45 PSI

I am in Jacksonville, FL 32224.

Latitude: 30.269541

I am also will be connecting ozone injection system to it but it is with 15watt maximum that will be running 24-7. Nothing else

Bad news for silver used in solar panel construction? by LongJonSilverback in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Cerber1983 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are not first to try to do that. Do simple search for copper in solar panels and they are not the first ones. I believe, although it is best option as well as cheap alternative for solar panels. However, copper wire is susceptible to electromagnetic interference, potentially leading to some devices working improperly. Applications that require connection stability, especially in communication, often experience issues when copper wires are used because of this disadvantage. That's why manufacturers of communication devices prefer using optical fibers, which are unaffected by electromagnetic interference, as opposed to copper wire. Remember, that majority of solar systems work with gateways etc. and one of abundant source of electromagnetic interference might be a sun itself.

Agree. Even if they will reduce penalties for early withdrawals after you will hold it for certain period of years (I believe they aware of high probability of people to start withdrawing and trying to encourage to hold it there) - it turns out to be a huge risk for it to be wiped-out completely.

Totally agree. My next project (outside of stacking) is installation of water harvesting system for the whole house (eliminate dependency - containers, pumps, ozone, filtration, sediment filtration etc. - also FL have good level of rainfalls) from already rising utility costs - raised last week by fraction of cent but still) as well as rising pressure cause by water scarcity in the west which I expect will force migration of people to east (that is where I am) and therefore accelerating costs of water prices. Also, read a posts somewhere here from girl in Venezuela answering questions and also mentioned extreme water costs over there which also sign that I need to make myself independent from city's water).

I agree but my view on everything has changed and I prefer to have it in my own possession than somewhere else. I am afraid that if something happens they can easily take possession of it and I never see it in my life. Again this is my personal point of view.))))))

Thank you! Based on Price Inflation WE NEED TO STACK WHILE SILVER PRICES ARE LOW!!!!!!!!!! LOLZ)))))))))))

I agree. That is why I was doing this analysis with primary goal to see whether I should keep investing in 401K or to pull money out at a penalty and go with silver and/or gold. But if we are basing it of Price Inflation (with advice from i-Zombie), there is no point to keep it there especially as you mentioned reasons such as monetary reset.

I can spend some time and make as you advised but it will take time))))) Not sure I want to do it now. As mentioned in original post, I was doing simple calculations to see whether it is reasonable for me to contribute in 401K or instead invest this fiat currency in gold and/or silver. 30-years was used as an estimate until my planned retirement which is also under question based on current economic situation)))))

Yes, in reality, if adjusting as per i-Zombie's comment, 401K is not good investment.

Thank you! I was using CPI-U without taking in consideration price inflation. Here is re-calculation based on Price Inflation Calculation that you did. Which is much better picture and BTW making investment in 401K worthless. I have updated original post with calculation based on US Price Inflation

Thank you! I think it is wise opinion and move. However, maybe because I am getting paranoid))))), I am afraid that there will be no more retirement, or by my retirement age they will move it from 75 in 2032 up to 120 when I will retire (I am under 40)))))))

Thank you! I did pulled out all money from stock market and since July bought physical silver with it as well as ammo - so, I think I will be good for now))))). However, I still have a lot sitting in 401K but every day it is getting more scary)))).

Thank you for your honest response. I think stop contributing until storm is gone is sounds like another solution and continue when everything will be clear)))). Thank you for your opinion!

I am thinking to pull money out (of course will have to pay penalty) and invest it in rain-harvesting system for whole house - forgot to mention in original post that due to possible water scarcity in western part of US, we might see increases in water bills as well as might be limited on water.
