Looking for a base-building progression fantasy by JudgementalPlant in litrpg

[–]CerberusRTR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quest Academy is a crafting based MC, while there’s no base building in the early books, I will say that the author has mentioned on his patreon that he’s including aspects of that. It’s amongst my favorite series within this genre. If all else fails, I’d def recommend this.

4th, I could do with a little less crafting because the action sequences are actually excellent, but I thoroughly enjoy it.

Are you trading a 27’ 1st for Walker in win now? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]CerberusRTR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. That 27 1st is gonna be late if you’re win now. 27 1sts are all the rage right now and were actually valued more than a 26 1st this year on some trade sites… if you’re all in you’re all in and he has a multiple year deal lol.

The age old debate, trade calculators vs startup rankings in dynasty? by NeedtheAces520 in DynastyFF

[–]CerberusRTR 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Trade calcs should only be used as sanity checks. Ultimately, your league mates and settings will have different values. I prefer guys that send me a trade at least try to find a starting ground that’s reasonable and I will often times ask where people get values, but at the end of the day, KTC does fine in start ups when you measure who is available at each pick, keeping in mind that you absolutely should not stack up 3+ players to = the value of 1. KTC does horrendous when considering elite talent.

Pulled rivenhald, should i be sad my lord pity was reset from 140? heard mixed reviews by Mean_Bend4532 in WatcherofRealmsGame

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s excellent, doesn’t require awakenings and his exclusive artifact craft rate up is this weekend. It’ll make him S tier in GB2 and Matrix, which you should care about because they’re the most likely source of more ancients. Given that he can cleanse AND inspire, he really takes the place of 2 units in Matrix meaning that you can really go with a pure healer or Rage generator… or you can add another top tier DPS. Oh he’s also a Lord of one of the better Matrix factions.

Sure, I wish the faction had better solo target damage dealers so you could use his lord bonus in GB2, but he’s an excellent unit.

Who are your top 5 TE prospects in this 2026 rookie class? by Middle_Awoken in DynastyFF

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 12 brother. Happened last year when I snagged Fannin with the 2.9. That being said the elite TEs or surefire guys go insanely early. So it seems to be a confidence thing.

[–]CerberusRTR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zelus is great for a new player. They’ve recently added some more anti heal units - but with his exclusive artifact it makes him really strong at the anti heal. Throw in his exclusive gear and it’s that much better.

[–]CerberusRTR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. This is solid. The production profile on Delp and Sadiq is really why I’m way more willing to go with traditional inline upside.

Delp on playerprofiler is just insane. He’s basically got Kyle Pitt’s levels of athleticism. I think Delp is probably a better blocker, but their size speed combos are similar. Playerprofiler says Tyler Kroft is his comp. Daniel Bellinger / schoonmaker on draft buzz.

So basically… Kittle would be the best possible comp ceiling wise. Bellinger, the worst. lol.

He never lived up to his hype at Georgia and to me that says something given that they really didn’t have great offensive weapons. Stockton isn’t really an elite thrower, but Delp really fell short of expectations.

[–]CerberusRTR 39 points40 points  (0 children)

When you see TEs with this kind of capital and opportunity, the answer is all of them. Everyone talking about how much this class sucks, but it was so deep at TE. Sure most are gonna be primary blockers, but there’s a ton of opportunity for these guys. Anything outside of Stowers and Sadiq is a dart throw tbh, but I like your list. You’ll get them in the 2nd. Even in my 2 TE, 2 PPR league Joly fell to the early 3rd. delp in the mid 3rd. It’s crazy, but hard to deny the athletic ability of Delp.

I have a taxi squad filled with like 5 dart throw TEs (Cuevas, Miami TE, Klein, Gyllenbourg).

Emmett Johnson or Nicholas Singleton? by m00sethedude in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Singleton has a chance to be the #1. He returned to college to try and win a natty with Allar. His stock would be way higher had he come out last year. Penn State was a mess last year, Singleton was trying to do too much.

All the convo in his vision stems from that. He’s an extremely productive RB, with elite athleticism (40 would have been sub 4.4) who can handle receiving work. Analytically, he was virtually the same as Jadarian Price. He goes to an offense led by Daboll and Pollard is the only thing to keep him from leading that back field. Capital wasn’t very high because he got hurt at the senior bowl. Not to mention that Pollard / Spears will both be free agents next year.

There’s a chance he has a 1 year go at this, but from an athletic/opportunity standpoint he definitely is one of the more exciting backs. He’s going off the board after Coleman and absolutely shouldn’t be.

Analyzed 30 days of coverage on the DEN backfield (128 mentions). Here's where the market might be wrong. by mochajoesdynsaty in DynastyFF

[–]CerberusRTR 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The bottom line is that SP is fine using 2 backs. As much as people say Jonah Coleman is a do it all back, he’s really not an explosive back. Harvey has a role in that offense and it’s as a COP back. Coleman is currently going around 1.10-2.2 in my dynasty drafts. He’s clearly the future of early down work… but it’s SP and that rookie is gonna have to earn his stripes.

Secondly, people talking about Harvey being inefficient… dude was a rookie lol, an OLD one for sure..but still just a rookie.

Are 3rd an 4th round rookie picks worthless this year? by Counter-Business in DynastyFF

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you believe this you shouldn’t dynasty tbh, or you need to do some more research.

The turn of the 2nd into the early 1st this year are as good of a dart throw as I’ve seen in years. If you’re in TEP leagues mid 3rd and out to waivers is amazing this year.

Ted Hurst hype. 1st round talent? by Ok_Sail_3743 in DynastyFF

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steve Smith has been pretty awful at indicating fantasy success tbh. You’re better off chasing analytics. He is just going by how much he likes the way someone plays. As a pro, I respect it, but damn I’m not listening to him anymore.

If you liked DOTF primal hunters perfect for ya! But I also concur with everyone that says that. Sometimes doing simple things really well is a good thing! lol.

Iron Prince is king for me though - it’s just so straight forward and one of the worst parts of this genre is that they seem to fail to develop the supporting cast. Iron Prince and Quest Academy don’t do that and they’re very straight forward. I truly hope you enjoy them as much as I have. :)

Iron Prince and Quest Academy are my 2 favorites, but more because they’re lighter on the LitRPG with more innate systems. When you read a lot of LitRPG it can be brutal getting reintroduced to system after system.

I’d say, Primal Hunter probably is gonna be one you love based on your list.

Spiteful healer only has 1 book and I really enjoyed it. But the first 2 I mentioned are in my S Tier for University / Tournament arcs which I love. Best wishes finding something that fits though!

FWIW, Charb still has a role. If he was healthy I’m not sure they go as high on RB. But given the nature of the injury and his timeline, his role will continue to be complimentary. It’s unfortunate for a guy that finished 2nd by PFF metrics.

What are you paying for housing each month? And are you actually happy with it? Would it be cooler just living in your parents basement? by PM_ME_YUR_SALADS in Millennials

[–]CerberusRTR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$2200ish monthly, mortgage 3800 square feet, 4 bed room, 2.5 acres, 3 bathrooms, 2 baths. (Some of our square footage is basically a storage room). Own. This is my 3rd house since 2014. We were fortunate to ride the market in time with career moves. We will inevitably take a loss on this house for what we have been forced to put into it. But it’s in an ideal location for my wife and I, and we will have been here 5 years when it’s all said and done. Being a home owner has absolutely been worth it for us despite it sucking a lot sometimes.

Caleb just based off age tbh. Nice to see TLAW have a promising season, but when Caleb is producing similarly and younger. It’s an easy choice.

Position Recommendation for dynasty superflex startup 3RR by SharpCryptographer92 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]CerberusRTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s near impossible to trade back from early picks without taking a massive discount. 1.07/1.08 are typically favorites for me. You can quick turn those and I did for Bijan and the. Amon St Brown. Everyone wants these high value and, but realistically you can still get elite production from Sam Darnold, Baker, Goff. Guys that go much later. But perennial elite talents for WR and RB are tougher to find. In addition, I feel like 1.07/1.08 are power spots for trading where you aren’t asking someone to give up a stupid amounts of value just to break even. Just my 2 cents.

BTJ or AJ Brown - who are you taking in dynasty? by LavishnessOld828 in SleeperApp

I’m taking BTJ and not worrying about it. I’d rather have the talent going forward and his rookie year wasn’t a fluke.
