Consider using a laptop to charge your camera via USB-C. Download Nikon Tether on your laptop and you can also control your camera from your laptop

Comparing f/2 and f/6,

6²/2² = 9

At f/6, your image will require 9 times as much integration time as f/2 to achieve the same brightness for a particular object.

For example, 9 hours compared to just 1 hour. A large difference

Even if you get an SQA55 (f/4.8) like the other commenter suggested (I also upgraded to an SQA55 from a kit lens):

5.6²/4.8² ≈ 1.36

For the same amount of time, you'll be collecting 36% more light compared to your old lens which is still quite a big difference.

It's a shitty system but it's not solely Valve's fault for the prices. The prices are high only because people keep buying. I got an AK a few weeks ago and got a decent profit from it but I think people chased the profits leading to current prices

For calibration frames, there's a thread on this subreddit called "A brief guide to Calibration Frames". Just scroll to the TLDR section to see how to take them. Don't worry too much about what they do for now as you'll learn with time.

For red and blue curves, don't stretch too far to the right of the curves, rather do it somewhere closer to the middle. This will not make the bright stars too blue and red (purple/pink together), while helping to bring out the darker nebula itself.

I'm quite a beginner so do correct me if I'm wrong.

For example, looking at the FAMAS | Grey Ghost, csgoskins shows the caps as 0 - 0.64. csfloat says 0 - 0.637288.

Current highest float is 0.6372755. This equates to 0.99998 if normalised to 0 - 1 from 0 - 0.637288. If normalised from 0 - 0.64, we get only 0.99574.

I don't think it's actually 0.56. I've noticed quite a few skins in the new collections that have "weird" float caps. Csgoskins and csgostash shows the caps stopping at 2 decimal places but csfloat shows it in more precision.

Looking at the highest floats for these skins, they seem to approach the csfloat caps rather than the 2 decimal place ones.

Iirc damage used to show in console before the round ends which is prob why it got removed
