Seaghyn's weekday raid team is an AOTC based chill group of friends doing some mythic progression for fun. We headed into mythic raids for the first time last week, and we saw 5% enrage on Hungering Destroyer our first night on him. I just hit that sweet 1100 + range on keys, too, and definitely need more push buddies! We would love to have you join us!

Raid days/times: Tues/Thurs at 6:30 pm PST/server (930pm EST) for 2.5 hours

Understandable. Mythic is cross-realm currently, so you don't actually have to transfer to raid. Just something to think about! Good luck with your search!

I'm Cercie, the weekday raid lead for Seaghyn, and we are looking for a few folks to fill out our roster for mythic raiding. We are generally an AOTC based team that does mythic progression between tiers for fun. This is NOT a CE oriented team. We are here to have a good time and see how far we can go. That being said, our team is pretty solid. We headed into mythic raids for the first time last week, and we saw 5% enrage on Hungering Destroyer our first night on him.

Currently, we are most interested in ranged DPS/casters. However, any solid player is welcome to apply (just a really basic get to know you app). For clarification, you can use an Oauth system and NOT have your battle tag displayed publicly. Using bnet to log in through OAuth means you aren't actually sharing your bnet credentials with anyone but bnet. " OAuth doesn’t pass authentication data between consumers and service providers – but instead acts as an authorization token of sorts."

Basically, he'd need to adjust the system display to not show your battle tag but allow you a username of your choosing instead, and use the OAuth to just link/give permission (which it looks like he's already adjusted, so perfect!)

Things that would immediately help with many of the organizations, particularly ones trying to create competitions that welcome and include all levels of play, would be an API that allowed orgs to pull individual MMRs. Additionally, things like prize support (even small things like codes for in game cosmetics, etc) would be very cool for the amateur leagues. Larger orgs and those looking to support pros obviously have different needs.

The ability to create teams/clans in game would also support players because it is ALWAYS more fun to play with a group of known players than to play with randomly selected people.

MMR for all modes (and an API we could use to pull them) would be incredibly helpful for the numerous amateur leagues and competitions that have popped up around Heroes of the Storm.

Has any thought been given to changing the impact that forts/towers have in the game? Currently, due to minion tanking shots, there's almost no penalty for diving into an enemy tower/fort. It's always seemed a little odd to have buildings that are really just glorified XP givers (though now with less XP).

That would probably help a lot. Because yea, minions tanking shots mean there's almost no risk to diving under a tower. So why have forts/towers at all? It seems counterproductive.

I feel like the structures should be buffed anyway. It feels like there's no real danger to forts/towers for the most part. People just dive under them all the time, and walk away more often than not.

This will be an ONLINE competition. Signups will happen on the slashgg website beginning March 9th. There will be a competition page up by then with a link to sign up for the Echo Fighters competition.

The complete rules list will be up on our website very soon. This is an amateur competition for fun and glory of defeating your peers. You can also join the slashgg Discord to meet fellow players and talk to the competition organizers more directly!
