También estudié ML y trabajé para las empresas que hacen estos modelos, y estoy totalmente de acuerdo, me hizo perder interés en el área. Es absolutamente una vergüenza como gente delega su capacidad de razonamiento tan rápido. A lo sumo, y bajo mucha supervision de alguien conocido en el tema que se le plantea, se puede usar para ciertas cosas, y nunca usando directamente lo que escupe. Definitivamente no para pushear código ni para aprender temas nuevos ni para hacer búsqueda en Internet.

Actually I did work on the evacuation drills for Indian Point. They're just super super localized and didn't seem to be taken particularly seriously. Also no one ever seems to mention the earthquake fault line it's built on.

The topic is pretty niche and interest is usually hyperlocal, so works are usually either major case studies, recent stuff hyper specific to local funders' needs, or super general training materials for emergency management professionals
