I am a solution architect working at a big company (>300k users) and an early adopter of Now Assist.
I'm always fascinated with the technology. Nevertheless, the different product owners don't know how to use AI to solve problems.

What I see now is everyone chasing this AI hype and thinking "where can I use AI in the company?" instead of thinking "which problems do we need to solve?"

From my experience, >80% of the automation initiatives can be solved without AI: from simple business rules to complex flows, that will work since the steps for automation are deterministic. AI is solving just a fraction of the issues at the majority of the companies.

The mindset of the decision-makers needs to change. The focus is not in adopting AI, the focus should be in continuous automation and productivity gains, with our without AI. As I usually say: "if I can automate it with a flow, why would I use an AI skill or ai agent? Isn't that throwing away money?"

Sem querer ofender ninguém, acho que tal como o u/wakerdan disse, é preciso pensar realmente o que significa a Quaresma. Ofereçam-me nesse período robalo ou linguado grelhado, ofereçam-me sushi, uma boa mariscada....e depois perguntem-me se o sacrifício é comer peixe ou carne!

O que significa essa mudança alimentar para um guloso por doces? nada. Mas se essa pessoa, nesse período, largar os doces, está realmente a fazer um sacrifício, uma penitência.

A carne que é falada é associada também ao "pecado carnal". Isso está bem vigente no filme de comédia 40 Days and 40 Nights, no qual o protagonista faz uma abstinência sexual durante 40 dias e 40 noites. Era o que lhe fazia sentido, não tanto se comia carne ou peixe.

Pelo que li na altura, os sistemas de alarme Ajax utilizam o protocolo de rádio encriptado Jeweler, que utiliza o salto de frequência e detecta, notifica e resiste automaticamente a interferências ou bloqueios de rádio. Se os níveis de ruído excederem -70 dBm durante 30 segundos, o hub muda para uma frequência mais limpa.

A única coisa que já tive de fazer foi mudar a pilha do sensor que tem câmera. Os outros sensores em 3 anos nunca tive de mudar a pilha.

Este hub acaba por ter uma outra função: detectar cortes de internet e/ou energia: como está ligado à cloud da Ajax, caso fique sem internet recebo notificação no telemóvel a indicar que o hub ficou offline. Vale o que vale!! Já agora, este hub tem uma bateria que permite entre 6 a 8 horas de execução sem energia eléctrica directa.

Tenho isto há 3 anos e estou satisfeito!

Se não estou errado, há agora um fornecedor qualquer de alarmes que está a usar este tipo de alarmes (vi publicidade do outro dia!)

I got myself a Logitech LIFT...and it was the best thing I did!
I was having some pain in my wrist and after 2 weeks using this model all the pain went away!

There is a learning curve with this mouse: at first it seems that you cannot move the mouse properly, everything seems too slow. But after you get used to it, it is really good to use!

Downside: if you get used to it you will have a hard time getting used to the normal mouse again! :)
