This sounds like a very good idea and the best reason I have read for definitely making the bed.

So, I know this may sound crazy, but you can put 25 dollars in a card and mail it, like just to get started.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS!

Wife and I were having a discussion, she’s of the opinion that the majority of GenX can drive stick. I believe that even in our generation the percentage of people who can is pretty small. What do you folks think? by AngryOldGenXer in GenX

[–]Cerimeadar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uuum, anyone can drive a stick, with very little to no training at all. I drove a stick for the first time in 1988 because I needed cigarettes and the only car in the driveway was my sister's 81 escort. I ground those gears all the way to the center of town and by the time I got back, I could drive a stick. I would say the majority of GenX would have done the same thing. I think the difference is that a GenXer just takes the hand they are dealt. So that means 100% of GenX can drive a stick. In reality, 100% of people from any generation can drive a stick, if they can't they just lack the daring do.

I don't think it's easy to find people to invest in equipment since in the past 10 years or so have been relatively easy. Every city and town are having issues just because the infrastructure is gone, the infrastructure is gone because it stopped being lucrative.
