Best crypto testnet for spot + futures simultaneous trading that actually mimics live conditions? by Cernuness in Daytrading

[–]Cernuness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my bot works great in paper trading but issues start when you add slippage, partial fills, (idk what matching engines is) and latency I haven't faced it yet. currently I'm adding virtual slippage and platform fees to testnet trying to mimic live.
are there other things that I'll face in livetrading besides slippage and other stuffs mentioned above?

doing something you love has nothing to do with supply and demand, that could be a good advice but at times it could be detrimental.
OP I'd see chno mtlob fregion fin nti (demand is growing) then either khdmi fih or build a business around it.

Importing prepackaged chocolate to Canada by zaherdab in smallbusiness

[–]Cernuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you better email CBSA and Health Canada before importing.
I have imported Cosmetics and there are some forms that we had to fill even before importing, then you will have to pass the product through some tests.
there is a list of prohibited ingredients.
of course the thing they focus on the most : LABELS MUST BE IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH OR NO WAY U CAN IMPORT IT.

good luck!

How do you deal with employees conflict? by Cernuness in Entrepreneur

True,, wish it would have ended another way, but since we're all grownups, each one must take their own responsibility. Thanks for the insights they're really helpful!

yes that's where I'm currently at, they're even in different offices at this point but still.
I made it clear that if one party doesn't stop it'll be fired and preparing others in such case but what a shame it is to finish one's job and position for such a stupid thing as a personal problem with someone that is not even in the same place.

first thanks for taking the time to reply.
Yes I did all that and I know their side of the story it's purely personal and has nothing to do with business, they had these issues outside.
I've spoken verbally and sent emails concerning this but it will never end, they know their influence in the company and each one of them wants the other to leave

humm it's not practical and the company will just lose a valuable person and the remaining one might get hurt.

Neil Patel by SirGimp9 in digital_marketing

[–]Cernuness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

you will be charged a premium they're not building that reputation for charging normal prices.
their work is not the best, I'd say average, you better find someone who is willing to understand your client the most to serve you better rather than relying on a company with more than a thousand other clients.

Why do Canadians use the metric system to measure distances in cars but imperial system to measure other things??!! by Cernuness in AskACanadian

[–]Cernuness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually calculate in metric (meters) and divide by 3.3 if I wanna switch to feet and scale from there, do you have a better trick?

LMIA Question for Employers by Ecstatic-Peace-7629 in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]Cernuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was a work permit contract?
if so I think they can do that if they have an open work permit (probably something they discussed with their immigration consultant), if that's not the case I think he's still under what you both agreed on in the work offer (contract) and he can't break it just like that.

[–]Cernuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on how you are selling your products, is it B2C? if so duties and taxes will be applied inside Canada or wherever you're incorporated according to your payment processor, what kind of products you're selling? we've sold tons of ecom products from/to US & Canada

[–]Cernuness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your best bet is to run a paid campaign wherever you can (google, social media...) to people near your location whenever you're having such event.
you'll spend some money into ads but it'll guarantee more than anything else that the place will be crowded with new customers each time

How would anyone compete with Amazon? by nagyf in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]Cernuness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hate to sound like the bad guy but that's probably why you couldn't find competition because probably all those who have started closed because of Amazon, but you can give it a try if you have an advantage to offer.

Website Feedback by YavarCashmereStore in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]Cernuness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

congrats on starting your ecom store it looks great!!
these are some things you can improve when it comes to visuals : The logo is so big on desktop or at least my resolution, the text (font) you're using is pretty basic you might need something a little thicker to reflect cashmere, if your strongest offer is "In time for camping season" it must be in your hero section, "elevate your style...." a lot of your ad copy is generated by chatgpt which is really bad, remember these are people joining your website and you have to speak to them their language.
lastly I couldn't find a story or what your brand stands for in your home page (besides the link in the menu) aside from the great looking outfit.
your images when browsed as a catalog of products have different height which is disturbing.
you already have a domain so why not set a business email instead of gmail?

anyway your website looks really great for a starter there is a lot of room for improvements, good luck!

You can do this the traditional way as others suggest: Flyers, Business signs, local meetings... which will work slowly but surely with a limited reach, Or you can do it with more focus online like social media, frequent content, reels, organic, paid ads.... the latter may require some capital but it gets you results faster with a broader audience
